“What a delightful company to deal with. Easy to book, reasonably priced cottages. Communication was clear, simple and not excessive. Herdwick rang me the day before our booking started just to ask if we were all set or if we had any questions etc… lovely touch. Great company to deal with and would 100% recommend. Belinda”

“Great service. We booked relatively late and you were very responsive in enabling us to book Monday to Monday when it is usually Friday change over. The cottage was fantastic - great location and very well equiped and really helpful information provided in the cottage.”

“Pre arrival instructions arrived in good time. Access to the cottage was as described before hand . The cottage was clean and tidy. Cleaning supplied were provided as well as tea, coffee, sugar. I deliberately left my toiletries at home to lighten the load as I was travelling by train. I'd forgotten they were not supplied. I was cold in the evening, although the bedroom was warm and toasty. I hate to complain but did highlight this at the end of my stay. Had I done so earlier Herdwicn would have been only to pleased to help.”

“I cannot fault the level of service and help I received from Herdwick staff and all the staff I had contact with were very friendly and courteous. The timing and detail of all email communcations were spot on so we were able to check in, settle and check out with ease. Just what you need for a wee break away. Thank you.”
