“Booking was very easy and confirmation of booking was sent very quickly. It was great to receive a phone call from one of your staff the day before we travelled to ensure we had received arrival and departure information and see if we needed any additional information.”

“One minor issue: We did ask for the beds in the main bedroom to be zipped together, but there were two singles when we arrived. This was not a big issue because we just pushed the beds together but worth noting for future. Otherwise we received good service from Herdwick Cottages staff and the courtesey caal before our arrival was appreciated. The cottage was all as described, well equipped and everything worked!”

Dear Andrew, thank you for your feedback about your stay at 7 Low Glenridding. Unfortunately, the property offers only a double and a twin room. The two single beds in the twin room are not zip-and-link beds and cannot be joined. While the description specifies it is a twin bedroom, we will try to make this clearer. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay despite this. ^Adam

“All facilities are best equipped, clean and in perfect conditions, the camping house is so comfy and excellent comfortable. Camping staff is so nice and supportive, I will come again definitely and highly recommend my friends to book for this cottage 🤩😍”

“House was as described in the listing, booking was easy. Telephoned and spoke to a colleague before booking about how easy the walk to Bowness would be wanted assurance that the route would be paved as we had a 5 year old and baby in a pram, was told it was about half an hour walk on paved roads so we booked. However this was not accurate, most direct routes involved unpaved sections which we had to negotiate in single file. We eventually found a route that took us on the quiet roads around the house and we crossed the main road and walked through the marina, it was steep on the way back. So maybe provide accurate information or provide a map at the house. This was the only negative though and would use Herdwick Cottages again.”
