Info about cottage was prompt and helpful. However, the cottage itself would need some tlc and proper cleaning. The kitchen cupboards were dirty, there were cobwebs everywhere, virtually none of the doors could be closed properly and the door handle in the bathroom was broken. At this price point we would have expected much better. There was also no kitchen roll or dish washer tablets in the kitchen.

Easy booking online, the cottage was above our expectations. Beautiful location, clean, comfortable with a bus stop at the doorstep. Pub and hotel within walking distance across the footpath and information tallied with information from Herdwick Cottages.
Swift refund of security deposit when we got home.
Will definitely book with this company again when we next visit the area.

from initial booking to entering the cottage Mustard Pot service was excellent with notifications well in advance of early entry though i hadnt noticed email notification. a friendly phone call 24 hours prior to travelling probably as i hadnt acknowledged email was a lovely gesture rather than just an AI generated nod.
