"I purchased this generator to run the house on during extended power cuts, which are becoming more common in our area.\r\nWe have a smaller generator (2.5 kw) already, but we can only use a limited number of appliances in the house but as power cuts are going to be more regular with renewables being unreliable, we thought it time to upsize.\r\nAt 8 to 8.5 kw we can pretty much run everything we need to, provided we are a little careful with the utility room items.\r\nThe generator arrived well packaged and took a little time to do the final assembly, but when I went to start it, it started immediately and ran smoothly. The house seemed to like it!\r\nThe minor issue is the wheel fitting. As others noted, the supplied R clips don't work and I spent far too long looking for cotter pins! Just a minor issue.\r\nOverall, i couldn't be happier.\r\n"

"Really nice material with buckle clips; HampshireGenerators own image is somewhat fabric looking & has toggles for holding sides up now replaced. Here you can clearly see the PVC & fabric carrier bag. My only recommendation is that both ends can be zippable, allowing easy switching off and on plus air flow. Mine is going to have a lifting kit added & with the gap above it might bulge but I guesstimate it'll be fine. The exhaust vent kit will be soon added to mine as it lives inside a container for work on a lorry project some six or so meters away. Which has come from GearGB along with their remote much nicer than the honda-official version. My power delivery system 32A 10-meter cable(s) (PowerShackShop) + St Anton Distribution Box 32A 240V In, 3 x 16A 240V Out [30mA 2P RCBO] (simplysoundandlighting) & waterproof 2 gang boxes also from Wales-PSS. These are actually been upgraded to their own RCD outlets for a bit more mullah as I don't want to deal with finding faults, it'll be easier to diagose issues at the 13A socket outlet. This is the genie cover for anyone with Honda EU70is tis the bee's knees =GunZenBomZ="
