Very pleased with the service provided by Hampshire Generators. Whilst I hoped the portable power tank I ordered would arrive quickly due to a planned power cut in our area; as I left it quite late to order, I didn't expect it to arrive in time; but it did! Even with plenty of time to charge the unit before the power went off.

Ordered on line via website very easy to use .Just click on tab for lines you are looking for make your selection click select and hey presto it is in your basket 🧺 proceed to checkout enter your details for delivery and invoice then select method of payment you will then be informed purchase successful. Straight forward delivery arrived within 2 days perfectly packaged.1st purchase & delivery highly recommend 👌

A little disappointed at the service from this company, I initially called for advice on which size EcoFlow unit I needed and was advised on the correct size and also told it would be delivered within 1 to 2 working days, in fact it took two weeks as I was not advised they were out of stock, this meant it wasn’t available for the trip intended on my boat. If goods are not in stock you should be advised before they take your money so that you are able to make a choice as to whether or not to go to another supplier.

I don’t normally write reviews, but as I was sent the request I will give a brief description of my thoughts. I have purchased a new Anker 757 power station and when it arrived it had a few scratches on plus a small dent in the plastic on the side and having just spent a £1000 on my new toy it’s obviously a little disappointing. I contacted Hampshire generators with a short video and a few photos of the damage to see their thoughts and if anything what they could do to rectify the situation. At the time of writing this no response whatsoever! Also I was supposed to receive a free £50 gift card for making the purchase and this didn’t arrive either. Maybe this review will spur a telephone call or response via email?

The Jackery arrived promptly. I bought it especially for our friends in Ukraine, as they have huge electricity cut-outs and a battery can be a life-saver. Literally they have power for 6-7 hours per day only. The Jackery arrived yesterday and will drive a 100W water pump for the heating. Our friends have a little baby, +2.4 hour extra heating can be a life saver.

I placed an order and received confirmation via email, which was fine but there was no update as to when I might receive my order. After approx 10 days I rang Hampshire Generators and was told there would be another 10 days before they received stock - clearly, they are very happy to take your money weeks before they had stock!! Not a great way to treat customers. If you don't have readily available stock, just put it on your website when stock will be available and let potential customers pay when stuff is available. Also, I didn't receive the £25 love2shop card!!

Well I've paid for a generator, 20 Oct, I've had 1 email to say we,ll let me know delivery. Now 7 Nov and nothing, very poor service so far.

Excellent product and delivery, poor communications from HG's as my order was slightly delayed due to issues with the manufacturer. HG's could have sent me an email let me know, instead, I had to phone them up and it took a while I'm guessing that they are very busy but it's the basic's that might.

I ordered a week ago. No follow up email other than to say my order is received - I haven’t received the generator yet. I’ve emailed twice asking for an estimated delivery date and had no response. When I emailed asking about generator to buy I got a response within minutes. Now you have my money I get nothing for days.

Ordered and paid for a generator. Never arrived but was sent back by the courier. I then get cross-examined about why I sent it back when I have never even seen the generator! A complete faff.

Thanks for the review - you were called by the courier company and not us - sorry it didn't work out and I hope you sorted a generator from a different source.

The delivery driver said it was lucky I was in when he called, because he was not allowed to leave it with a neighbour because the battery is considered toxic. It would have been nice to be informed when it was going to be delivered and even as little as supplying a tracking number. Not impressed with the service.

Thanks for leaving a review but could you let us know if you are unhappy with it being delivered and if there is something wrong with the item? All batteries are considered 'toxic' and should not be eaten.

Little disappointed generator had an issue after two weeks sent it back and wanted my money back but because I hadn’t got the original box I was told I would only get 60% of my money back not what I expected but the issue was sorted and I have got the generator back however still not what I expected not as quiet or as light as I thought🙁🙁

it would be great if we had a complete order! it seems some of it got sent up to manchester and we still haven't received it! As we are only in Southampton Hampshire it could off been resent but we were told it would have to be found and then sent to us! We are not happy and hope to receive it A.S.A.P ?? update; After ringing again we asked them to send out another 2 more panels because the others hadn't been found..which they did and we received them the next day. We feel we should off been offered this in the first place... however all arrived safely and we are happy with our purchase.

Unfortunately, we do need to wait a few days for DPD to investigate lost parcels as they do sometimes reappear. They don’t cancel order if you request it and then leave you to return it at you’re own cost. You can get the items cheaper elsewhere so do that.

The portable generator that I bought from Hampshire Generators is exactly as described, and appears to function well, although it hasn't yet been properly tested. Sadly, my three star rating comes about as a result of poor system administration and customer care. Despite not having any stock available when I placed my back order the money left my bank as if the order had been fulfilled. Having waited over a week with limited response to my queries as to when the stock would be available, I was then contacted by a delivery driver trying to make delivery to my billing address rather than the requested delivery address. Having to make a 28 mile round trip to meet up with the driver, which seemed the only way to avoid even further delay, left a bitter taste. Hampshire Generators did then make contact to confirm that they had indeed filed the wrong address with the courier, and that they were sorry. Poor, probably deserving of two stars, but the unit itself makes me more generous.

Ridiculous customer service, rude personnel and appalling attitude. There was a problem with their online ordering portal where it did not copy the correct delivery address. After raising the issue with them the lady who dealt with my complaint did not want to believe me and instead insisted on charging me not one, but two additional shipping fees to divert the shipment when I should not be paying any as it is their system's fault. On top of all this, she was so rude to me and put the phone down in the middle of my sentence. I sent an email of complaint to their director, but I never heard from him either. My advice is to stay clear of Hampshire Generators if you are banking on after-sales service. They are happy to take your money, but after that, they do not want to know. However, there was one person worth mentioning who was very helpful at the start and he gave me good advice on which generator to buy.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review - we have checked this and see that you entered the wrong delivery address into your order - we worked hard to rectify this error but had to call this unit back and arrange a new delivery with the associated costs. Our staff are instructed to end calls where the customer is rude - we do not tolerate aggressive behavior towards our staff. We are proud to have the best customer service in this industry and our reviews show this to be the case!

Price-wise I guess competitive, but I was most miffed to get a different Generator than I ordered - ok, only colour-wise - and I can't be doing with re-ordering, waiting in again for delivery etc etc - but a right disappointment none the less!
