Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. “Colour isn't quite as bright as I had thought, but also my hair isn't as blond as it maybe should be. Easy to apply, definitely wear gloves. Washes out after one wash, but that's okay too.”

Hi Claire, thank you for the feedback; we really appreciate it. It is completely dependent on what color you used however, for the brightest result pre-lightened or light blonde hair works best. Are products with the correct aftercare can last up to 8-12 washes.

“I will always use crazy colour. Every colour I've tried has turned out nicely saturated and fades well. I've used aubergine here on natural blonde hair, dyed lighter blonde. It has lasted for about 3 weeks slowly fading as I wash it each day using a pearlescent shampoo and conditioner to give it a silvery tone as it fades.”

“The hair colour is great. I tried the blue shampoo. It's OK, but not so keen on the smell and it doesn't lather up like other shampoos. But the hair dyes are the best brand for bright colours.”

Hi Amanda, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you did not have a good experience with our product. This may be due to if parts of the hair were not pre-lightened or light blonde? The consistency is as it is to allow the color to able to be lathered into and saturate the hair to achieve the best result.

“I bought Lavender and Platinum for my bleached hair. However the colours didn't take as the blonde wasnt light enough. I think these colours require almost white hair for the colour to take. For the darker blonde colour I have, I wish I bought a darker/heavier colour.”

Hi, thank you for your feedback. As you thought both of these colors do require pre-lightened or light blonde hair to be vivid. However, there is always next time if you fancy re-trying. Our darker shades such as Ruby Rouge would work with your dark blonde hair.

“I love Crazy Color. I have 4 of them in my hair. I bought the rainbow shampoo abs conditioner to try and keep my colours bright. Unfortunately I have had a bit of bleed from the blue into my blonde but that might be because I have the water too high still. Delivery was reasonable. Customer service has been great”

Hi Jay, thank you for the feedback we really appreciate it. So pleased that you liked the color of our product, bet it looks amazing! To help with the dreaded fade a good shampoo and conditioner that's kind to color (such as our own), wash hair a max of two times a week and always in cold water.
