About Crazy Color:

Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. “The colour is so amazing I'm impressed, however the colour does wash out after a few washes. I still love it because the application is very easy”

Some of our recommended aftercare tips are to not wash your hair for 48hrs after dying. Use a good shampoo and conditioner when you do that's kind to color. However, there is more information available on our website. We are so glad that you loved the color and the super-easy application. Bet your hair looks amazing 💜

“I used the dyes “violette” and “peppermint”. Both were awful. The peppermint shade washed right out even though it was left on the longest. “Violette” turned my hair electric blue. Not satisfied at all.”

The shade Violette does have blue undertones and we also recommend lightening to level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying.

“Awful products. Pink shampoo did not lather, fair enough it smells nice and has left my hair soft but it hurt my head with how much I had to scrub to try and lather this product. This is the first time I've washed my pink hair after spending £98 to get it done. This shampoo did not do anything other than ruin the colour and make it run more. I would have been better using a non coloured shampoo as it would have probably kept the colour better. As for the anti bleed spray - did nothing!? Waste of money, my hair has completely leaked. I've had coloured hair for years and these are by far the worst products I have ever used. Absolutely gutted after my hair dresser recommended them. And for the price I expected better quality!! Rip off for an awful product unfortunately. Gutted isn't the word.”

Hi Gee, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. We are sorry that you have had a negative experience using our products. Our Pink Shampoo does not lather like some others due to it being salt and sulfate-free. The Anti Bleed Spray should be applied immediately after hair color is rinsed out of the hair. Then spray evenly over freshly rinsed hair, leave for 1 minute and rinse out of the hair. Information on how to apply each of our products is available on the website.

“Would love to write a review of your product but I didn't receive it. Hermes claim to have delivered it at 16:39 on 2nd June but I was sitting in my study at the front of my house that at that time and no delivery van drew up outside. Also, my video doorbell showed that no-one approached my front door between13:59 and 17:13 that day so goodness knows who received my parcel. Have reported this to Hermes but have heard nothing back from themas to what happened. Altogether, very, very disappointing.”

“My hair is bright!!! I used canary yellow with a little bit of green from another brand, and it's turned out so cool! If you need to get a good yellow hair dye, I'd definitely recommend. The bottle is kind of small for £5.50, but it's a price I'm willing to pay for this weird looking hair colour :D”

“Hair dye always arrives really fast, and the pigments are absolutely stunning. I have used fire, vermillion red & blue jade and so far all the colours are so pigmented and last a while. The colour shampoos are also a must!”

“Very good hair dye for a good price! You will need more dye than you think though, I used one and a half bottles to dye my medium length hair pink and wish I had used the full two bottles! If you have long hair you will need even more. But the colour is lovely and providing you look after your hair correctly it lasts quite a while.”

“Arrived quickly. Red is a lot brighter than I thought, was hoping it was going to me a deeper shade. Orange is the opposite, a bit darker, but as put it over faded green I expected a bit of variance. Both colours covered my faded green hair really well. Very happy.”
