Hi Cathy - thank you for your review. We understand writing reviews can be frustrating but it is a good way to get feedback so we can continue to improve our products and services. I have looked at your order and can see that you placed it on the afternoon of the 15th January and that it was despatched from our warehouse the same day on a Royal Mail 48 service which states delivery can take up to 3 working days. It was delivered to you a little later on 19th January. We apologise for this, however in some areas, in particular London, we find Royal Mail takes a little longer! We are sorry for the inconvenience caused on this occassion. THWBCo. x

“I'll sum it up this way: The Hot Water Bottle Company emailed me to ask for a review before my order arrived. Here's where it gets interesting. I ordered on December 5, 2023 and was later sent a link for tracking my order. When I tried the link, I got an error stating the data was mismatched. Ok, fine... Emailed support and was told my order hadn't left the warehouse yet - this was 5-7 days AFTER placing the order - unacceptable! Sure, I get it's the holiday season, but a week to process an order? Come on! Fast forward to today and my order has not arrived. The unfortunate part is their site prices U.S. shipments in USD, but doesn't tell customers the order will come from another country. Regardless, I found communication poor, shipment delays too long, and overall transparency to be unclear. Would I order again? I doubt it, but since the order hasn't arrived and they're asking for an order review before arrival, well, I guess that tells you something!”

Hi Hayley, Thanks for your review. At the time your messages on instagram went into the blocked folder and so did not pull through to our customer service system and your email went into junk which we didn't check so often. The team now checks instagram and the junk folder daily! Once we contacted you we resolved your order, the initial error being down to the product packaging being mislabelled at source. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused on this occasion, however your review has helped us to improve what we do!
