“I bought this kit in June 2020 and it was delivered in February 2021. I expected a long wait as this is a crowdfunded product. Fitment was really easy and has brought new life to my 23 year old Kona! I can now keep up with my wife on her e-bile. The kit is pretty stealthy and doesn't detract massively from the look of your bike.”

“I received the Swytch conversion kit for my Brompton 6 months after ordering. This wasn’t a problems as I expected a long wait as that’s how their business model is set up. The kit was very well packaged and I found the fitting instructions very clear and so didn’t have a problem installing the conversion kit. Riding the converted Brompton is great. I have a throttle and tend to ride the bike with zero pedal assistance and then just use the throttle when necessary. I recommend Swytch.”

“Love this product. I wanted to convert my bike to an e-bike and Swytch enabled me to do that. Quality construction, beautiful look, impressive packaging. “The Swytch universal ebike kit is a great product. I converted my wife’s Specialized Hardrock mountain bike with this kit. It is very easy to install following the instruction manual and the video. The kit is extremely light weight because the controller is built into the battery. It only added 11 lbs weight to her bike vs. my e-bike with separate controller and battery has added a total of 22 lbs instead. The service is excellent. The kit took a longer time to deliver then original estimate but is understandable because of the pandemic crisis as all the kit were assembled in China. I did receive email notices regularly throughout the period to inform me Swytch’s progress in production. The Swytch also sent me a brake sensor without charge as a courtesy to my request. As for the ride, the PAS sensor works very well and smooth, and the operation is simple and straight forward. My wife loves her ebike that makes going uphill an ease. She is totally happy with her ebike experience. I highly recommended.”

“Faced withy the dilemma of making a decision between a new e-bike or converting my nearly new hybrid with an e-bike kit, I opted for the Swytch method. Swytch offer a discount to those pre-ordering and as such I was expecting a fairly long wait for delivery. I was pleased and not a little surprised to receive delivery by the promised time, three months - well done Swytch (although some report long waiting times) The fitting is straightforward and well within the capabilities of someone who can do basic bike maintenance. Clear instructions are supported by a number of videos and underpinning this is the offer of assistance by Customer Support. The process went well for me and in a short time my Genesis Tour de Fer was transformed into an e-bike. Riding the bike is great. It really is like a permanent tailwind, or a helping hand. The assistance is controlled and powerful. It works on pedal assistance and can be detected after about half a revolution of the pedals. The level of assistance is controlled via easily accessible buttons on top of the battery pack (in my case fastened to the handlebars and looking like a small bar bag) I live at the top of a significant hill and this has always been an issue when planning rides. No more, the Swytch kit gets me up the hill and no longer is it a leg breaking struggle. I still have to work a little but I now climb the hill more quickly, more easily and in a higher gear. All in all I'm delighted with my decision to go down the Swytch route. I can continue to ride my bike which I love and which is only two years old but which now has the benefit of assistance. I have saved many hundreds of pounds when compared tot he cost of buying a ready made e-bike. A technical problem with my kit was very quickly diagnosed by Swytch Customer Support and a replacement handlebar bracket sent to me within two days. Excellent after sales service I'm happy and would recommend Swytch”

“I was an original backer for Swytch and eventually got my kit last October. My husband fitted it relatively easily and right from the first ride I have absolutely loved it. I find it evens out the lumps and bumps of cycling so my rides are at a more even speed, I don’t use the power assist for flat and downhill so a 30-40km ride will usually only drop 2 bars on the battery. We were so impressed we bought another kit for my husband in January.”

“Lady with a Big Smiley Face. Over the years I have adjusted my bike to suit me so wanted a electric bike to help getting up inclines due to age of my knees. So was very pleased to find this conversion kit which I felt I could fit myself. Luckily I was able to sign up for the pre order for 50% off. I was fully informed of the status of my order and the whole process was simple to use. Yes it takes months (8 for me) but that suited my situation of it being a birthday pressie for my 60th. The kit was easy to fit I had also ordered brake sensors. Anyway I love it. Cycling is enjoyable again.”

“It’s converted my little use steel frame single speed bike into a versatile every day bike. I only need level 1 assistance to allow me to ride all afternoon I use this bike for Deliveroo, and my fellow deliverooers are envious of my bike now. In short it rejuvenated a bike I once loved but which ended the up collecting dust in the garage…. until now that is since it has been “swytched””

“I really loved the packaging my Swytch kit arrived in. The branding is really cool and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We were able to assemble it in no time at all. Unfortunately I had a problem with the sensor but the customer service were very helpful diagnosing the problem and sent replacement parts very quickly. I really love my swytch kit. I have an arthritic hip and found cycling very difficult but now with the Swytch I am able to enjoy cycling with my family. Thank you Swytch! I have and will continue to recommend this to many friends.”

“purchased my Swytch eBike kite after seeing reviews on FullyCharged and other internet sources (ordered December 2020, arrived mid April). I was concerned about the fitting as a few people have had some challenges, particularly with the pedal sensor. I fitted my kit in April and have been riding the converted bike - a 12+ yo Marin Larkspur hybrid bike for 6 weeks very happily with no issues. My plan involved take a much loved older bike (I also have a modern road bike) and add a motor so I could keep up with my wife on her Van Moof. My experience on putting the kit together was super-positive. I took the opportunity to update tires and tubes on the bike and the fitting went very smoothly. I took it slow and steady and watched YouTube videos and everything came together without much drama and worked first time. I had some concerns about would the sensor move or fall off during use, no issues so far. I was able to adjust the top speed to "test" this mode and was very impressed. Last weekend I did a test run of 32 km through SW London, Richmond Park and Teddington Lock return using only level one assist. This worked absolutely fine and I returned with three bars of battery (out of 5) still available. I wanted to test the mileage as I am doing three days of 50km each day cost to coast along Hadrian's wall in August and wanted to know if it will make it! So far so good, I had one customer service query which was answered within about 24 hours and was helpful. Recommend to anyone who has a much loved bike and wants a little boost of encouragement to get on your bike more often!”

“My 82 year old Dad is a happy and proud Swytch Bike owner. At the outset of the Covid lockdown he had a small accident, which unfortunately lost him his sight in one eye! . He was always very active, so we were keen to get him back out cycling. He always wanted an electric bike, but these were beyond the budget. We came across the Swytch Bike kit. It was fairly straight forward to fit, and now he's off everyday, cycling around the Dublin hills, to the envy of his friends! He takes great pleasure in zooming past youngsters on the hills nearby. Thanks to all the team in Swytch, this is a super product, and works very well.”

“Several long tours done with my Raleigh S-5 gear cycle. Both with and without extra help of the Swytch Pro Kit. Uphill and in contrary winds the Swytch E-wheel Kit once again make me feel the joy of cycling as when younger. Surprisingly good power in the Pro Kit Battery and easy to shift between the different power options. I really appreciate that Swytch Team could deliver a 27 1 1/4 " (630) rim kit to my rebuilt vintage Raleigh. The support has been excellent regarding my many questions in mails. “Love my new Swytch! Received it this past week. The build was enjoyable and fun. Heat wave has prevented me using it as much as I'd like. I contracted cancer this past year, though before, I was pedaling 12 to 15 miles daily. Don't have that energy while receiving chemo. But my Swytch now makes it possible for me to enjoy outdoors again. A little learning curve being careful how fast I accelerate... but that would be the same for any e-bike. Great people to work with at Swytch. Very responsive and cooperative when I made a couple mistakes on my order.”
