“There are some minor errors within this course but I think it gives you a good general overview of the information you need from a TEFL course. It is probably advisable to take this information provided as baseline and then go off and do further research, but this is certainly informative and a nice thing to progress through.”

“Although it gets the job done, there are some embarrassing errors. There are misspellings in both the guides they hand out and the course, and they are repetitive when it is unnecessary and race through more important concepts. It also explains things in a backwards way; instead of explaining the definition of something they instead try to have you deduce, then explain. If grammar is difficult for most native speakers, why do this? Why not explain it first? I already have trouble recognizing these concepts, why not explain them first? It doesn't make much sense to me. In addition, a lot of the examples they use are implicitly sexist/biased. I'm sure they didn't realize it when writing them up, but it shows. If you have critical thinking skills, then this will be frustrating. Plus, they force dialogues like this before you can move on to the next module. I would've kept this to myself but you wanted a review so you got a review.”

“Ok, as a positive person I will start with advantages of Premier TEFL, which is the price. It's cheap. But cheap courses are cheap for a reason because I can't remember ever being so furious and disappointed about the service. Last summer I enrolled myself in premier TEFL course having been promised an ofqual certificate. Having finished the curriculum I paid for the cert in August 2018 and was informed I was about to receive it within 6 weeks. As it didn't arrive in 6 weeks I kept sending requests regarding it and was being mislead for months about it, with Premier team convincing me they did order it and I was on the next batch. I still have all those emails saved!! Then in January I was informed I had never been on any batch at all and my cert had never been ordered as reassessment was needed to obtain it. So I did (having taken the day off) completing it on a platform which wasn't actually suitable for that purpose, as I when I was on my last question everything just dissappeared and my 12 hours 'work was lost. Only after that was I informed re assessment platform was different from the studying one and I should have saved answers!! Didn't I have to be informed about it BEFORE I started , not after I lost the work.?? As I am a single mother with loads of other things to do, I could not afford another day off, so I was promised as much time as I needed and limitless access to my premier TEFL account. Now I am on my 3 weeks ' holiday, so last week I decided to submit my re assessment and stilll haven't got any response to the email I sent last Monday. So, I have no idea how and when I am going to find the extra time I need to complete. And yes, they we acting much faster to get me enrolled. Appaling..”

“I found the Premier tefl course acceptable for its perfect theoretical base and there you go the missing piece of the puzzle; The design of modules needs to be improved, The quizzes could be more challenging, You could add more podcasts instead of just YouTube videos that anyone could reach even if they didn't take the course, The pictures and illustrations could be used to make the course more fun Yet, I strongly recommend to anyone to take this course. It will teach you a lot and save up your time.”

“Great until you need to pursue the Ofqual certificate, which I feel there isn't enough communication provided on the rather lengthy process it is to acquire it and the fact you will be asked to resubmit two or three times due the questions not being clear enough for TEFL newbies. Luckily I started the process far in advance of when I needed it (12 months'!).”

“I do not believe that all the information taught through this course is relevant to practical teaching of English as a Foreign Language. It is a long and thorough course, and it is hard to keep focussed when you do not believe that what you're learning will help you teach English to new learners. But apart from this one little complaint, I think that the overall course is great.”

“Positives: 1) Always very polite, cheerful, helpful and friendly over the phone. 2) I really enjoyed my placement in Thailand - the agency they put me with were good overall and I trusted them. 3) They were apologetic when something went wrong on their end so I had to re-do my tests. Negatives 1) I had to re-do my tests but because something went wrong. However, this was not until I had returned from Thailand - so I thought I was fully qualified to teach but I was not. 2) On the form which I was sent to re-do my tests on, the person had forgotten to put word counts on for the answers. I then failed again because I did not stick to the word counts so had to do it once more. Very frustrating but not the end of the world.”
