first order, not recieved yet. a week,I think. Although they did let me know (about a stock issue). Communication good, not sure about the courier, as I havent got it yet. My service that was supposed to happen mon or Tues will be put back to next week. Good job I wasnt waiting on the filters really !

Ordered a service pack for my vehicle but sent oil of two different viscosity good job I checked . Never notified my before sending courier to collect incorrect oil. Overall not a great experience.

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the picking error there. Due to the sheer number of orders being sent unfortunately the occasional mistake is inevitable. I can see our customer services team resent the correct oil as soon as they were made aware. They would have advised the delivery and collection would happen the next day.

Ordering from the website was easy, and the order arrived quickly. The issue was that the box with the parts in had been crushed. It looked like Ace Ventura had delivered them. Plus, who would actually put a heavy 5 litre tub of oil in the same uninsulated cardboard box as a delicate paper oil filter element? Of course it will get crushed! Contacted Opie oils - said sorry and we'll revise our packaging and courier process going forward

Thanks for the review. I do apologise for the condition your order has arrived in. The majority of orders get to our customers undamaged but unfortunately, on some occasions the courier can mishandle orders. Would it please be possible to email some photos to customerservices@opieoils.co.uk?

The oil and filter arrived, however your courier delivered it to the wrong address. Both houses were clearly numbered and visible on a very quiet side road with short drives. My safe place was porch but it was left several doors down at the wrong house with no porch. I didn't require a signature It was left with a card saying safely delivered and I had an email saying successfully delivered? If it was not for a good hearted person delivering by hand later that day I may never have received it. The driver was either lazy or could nor read, either way you need to sort out your delivery service! This has never happened before and I order a lot on line.

Ordered, got a really useful message advising one item was out of stock, and to be reply if I needed anything. I needed the other item urgently so I replied within 5mins to ask for it to be dispatched. No reply for 6 days (no option below covers this only 6-12hrs or over a week), no sign of my package, so I had to buy from a High Street retailer. Over a week later I received my package, box torn open, and too late for my service. Have been told I'll need to pay to return the items if I want a refund, which will mean providing my own packaging given the state the box arrived in.

Hi Darren, Thanks for the review. I can only apologise for the issues you have had with your order. This is nowhere near the level of service we usually offer. Unfortunately for some reason, your first message didn't come through. To add insult to injury I can see the courier then took longer than usual to deliver. As an apology for the delay and inconvenience we can, of course, arrange for a courier to collect the order for a full refund.

Hi, Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the delay with your order. I can see it left us on the same day as ordering but unfortunately was sent to the wrong depot by the courier which meant it was not out for delivery on the Friday. I can see it was delivered on the next working day. Again I apologise for the slight delay with the courier.

Still waiting for my oil to be delivered 1 week after placing order. By comparison I ordered car valeting products from Amazon yesterday, they were delivered today, Sunday. Poor service Opie not sure I'll order from you again, or recommend you either!

Thank you for the review. We do apologise for the delay with your order. I can see it was dispatched promptly and are currently in the hands of Royal Mail. Due to the sheer number of parcels they handle unfortunately delays can happen. Royal Mail advises we have to wait 10 working days for delivery. Please let our customer services team know if it hasn't arrived by then, and we can then look into a refund or re-dispatch. We do offer quicker services to Northan Ireland, economy Royal Mail can, unfortunately, take some time on occasion. For this, we do apologise.

Opie oils seems good the courier they use (DX) .lets them down in our experience tracking is poor and our delivery went back to the depot 3times because the delivery guy didn't have time..

Good morning Mike. Thank you for the feedback. We are very sorry to hear there was not a pleasant experience with our couriers on this ocassion. I have just spoken with the courier to get a better understanding and give you an explanation. I have been told that there were operational issues with the depot local to you. The drivers had been overloaded and agency drivers were brought in to help clear a backlog. I am very sorry for the delay and inconvenience this has caused. I have also brought this up to my managers attention to try and improve future services. Kind regards Stephen

The person I ordered with told me that they only had 10 items out of the 12 and that they would send the 10 with the other 2 to folllow> I then got an email 2 days later to say they didn`t have 12 in stock but could send an alternative. I again forwarded my telephone number but they chose to email the next day to say that they could send 10 of the item that I had ordered. They seem to be allergic to the telephone and are then slow to respond to emails. In the mean time I had to place an order with a competitor as the next day delivery which I had paid for actually took nearly a week as you hadn`t dispatched it. A complete waste of time

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the delay with your order. Unfortunately due to miscommunication internally your order was not part shipped and we do apologise for that. I can see an email was sent the next day informing of the stock situation. This was then replied to with extra questions which we responded to via email as a preference for a phone call was not mentioned. I do apologise for the delay getting back to you, emails are answered from oldest to newest but always cleared by the end of the day. Due to the delay, we would have of course refunded any next day shipping but I can see the order was placed on our free delivery service. Once again we do apologise for the issue regarding the part ship, this should have been completed and for this we are very sorry.

Always a pleasure to deal with Opies Oils but cannot say the same about the delivery driver. Despite asking for the goods to be left in the shed (we were going away for 4 days) they were left on full view outside my front door. Fortunately my neighbour moved them into the shed. Will definately use Opies again but can you sort the dipstick delivery driver!

Missed part of my order, had to email to chase. Promised to send first class but didnt. They send standard DX. Frustrated as I wanted to service the car at weekend.

I can see as soon as you got in touch with us on Friday the missing item was dispatched. Unfortunately due to a communication breakdown your order was sent on a DX next day service as opposed to Royal Mail.

Box was damaged with the bottles bulging out of the bottom of the box. One of the bottles of oil had a large dent in the corner.

Such a shame that after all the years I have been dealing with Opie Oils they supplied incorrect brakes for my car, only found out once the car was apart very frustrating when had MOT booked for next day. On the plus side Opie did arrange pick up the incorrect parts and refunded my money very quickly.

Thanks for the review We are very sorry for the incorrect parts received. The registation number lookup regrettably cannot narrow down the exact parts for every car. In cases like this there is a "fitment details" box against each part with extra information which will help locate the correct ones.

Ordered a £120 worth of items on a Thursday. Emailed to ask if it could be dispatched the next day as needed the items to finish a job. Was told no it would be dispatched on Monday. No reason given as to why it couldn't be dispatched sooner. I always message sellers if I need the stuff in a hurry and they always go out of their way to accommodate me which is great customer service. Shame Opie Oils didn't have the same approach!

Oil filter out of stock, Changed that email confirmed order sent, Then another email saying oil out of stock, can't find a decent alternative. The whole order has to be changed. Customer service seems good but a lot of hassle.
