Wrong oil sent. Advertise as 7 liter of engine oil then sending two different oil grades 5w30 and 5w40?

Hello Simon, We apologise for this picking error and as discussed we have resent the correct oil and arranged a collection at our expense for the incorrect item. Unfortunately like in all walks of life there is always a chance of human error, sadly during picking your order the incorrect grade was picked up and boxed. Fedex tracker delivery date was Thursday 28th didn't arrive till Tuesday 2nd. Oil box was all damaged had to use half a roll of duck tape to make it fit to use.

Thanks for the review. I do apologise for the delay with your order. I can see it was dispatched on the 28th and due to the Easter weekend delivered on the 2nd. We have a dedicated customer service team on hand for any issues with delivery. I am sorry to hear of the damage but if you get in touch they will be able to help.

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the packing error, although we try our hardest to make sure every order is correct sometimes mistakes are made. I can see as soon as contact was made with our customer services team the correct items were sent out.

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the delay with your order, I can see Fedex were having an issue with your address. There is a note on your order stating you were in contact with our customer services team. It looks like the order was delivered the next day.

Ordered 8 days ago, still waiting for delivery. Last time I used they were excellent but service now disappeared off a cliff. Useless couriers Fed Ex.

Item never arrived. Bounced back and forth with fed ex and now says its goign back to the shipper. Its been delayed since last week.

Thanks for the review. I have had a look into your order and can see Fedex have tried to deliver multiple times but no-one was in to accept the delivery. I can see your order is back out for delivery today. On 27-2-2024 £44.91 taken from my bank for oil which I didn’t receive until 4-3-2024 went to motorspares got same Castro classic 20/50 £35.99 I will check prices before I order from you again

Yes, another delivery from Opie oils where something has got damaged in transit and has leaked into the box. This time somebody are taking it upon themselves to ram the 5 L of oil into the packaging damaging the casing and then it slowly dripped into the box whilst it was being delivered. Thanks for such inconsiderate actions and everything inside the box, then being soaked in oil which I have to handle and mop up the mess at home, where it leaked out into the hallway where the box was resting.

We do apologise for the damage. Sometimes, despite our best efforts with modern packaging and attention to detail, it is unavoidable that the couriers can cause damage, resulting in a leak. Because of these very rare occurrences, we have put in place the "Opie Oils No Leak Guarantee". We have a dedicated customer services team to help deal with any order issues, I have asked them to get in touch. Once again we apologise on behalf of Fedex for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately I not very happy with the service offered the package was damaged and split oil on the porch Charge top price for delivery and use cheap companies to keep high profits

Unfortunately on this occasion the delivery was not satisfactory. The small bottle of petrol additive was delivered in a large empty box so that it rolled about inside the box and there was some leakage of liquid due to the bottle's seal being broken. Previous deliveries have been fine so I hope for no leaks next time.

I ordered oil and filter for my car. I paid £9 for next day delivery. After 8 days I still haven't received the package. I wrote 3 emails to customer service, no one even replied to help me. I do not recommend this store, they ignore customers.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. As previously discussed, your order left us on the Friday and then delivered on the Monday. Over the weekend FedEx received your request to change the delivery address to collect from a shop. You will have to now collect the parcel from the shop. Regarding the communicational issue, we have only received one email from yourself on the 28th November which was sent when we were closed. Your email has now been responded to this morning 29th November. I hope this information helps. Regards, Sam

The oil sent was the wrong grade and had to be sent back and replacement oil of the correct grade be sent out. Apart from the fact this delayed the service of my car as planned this is not the first time the wrong grade of oil to that ordered was sent out. This has made me reluctant to place further orders. Having to box the items and take them into work for collection was also not convenient

Sadly human error can happen from time to time and is very unfortunate that is had happened in conjunction to a previous order. Extremely disappointed with the company , ordering process good however when it went rong not great at sorting and also extremely poor integrity around GOGW.. please avoid this supplier ..

Hello, thank you for your feedback. It was myself that spoke to you yesterday. As explained over the phone this was a boxing issue from Thule. There were also issues from the courier,not holding the item at depot as requested. However from that phone call the issues raised had been resolved. The correct item resent, the wrong one collected and as an apology an extra percentage was offered and now refunded. Given that you had already had used 10% (£35.00) we offered an additional 10% (£37.80) as a good will gesture meaning that in total you have saved £72.80. We have acted swiftly to get this resolved as quickly as possible within the time constraints. We do not think this feedback is representative of the situation.

Ordered oil for a job I had for Thursday evening so paid for next day delivery as normally delivery was Thursday and Friday so didn’t want to run the risk - oil arrived but incorrect oil was packaged so had to call up and get this rectified - oil was posted Wednesday for next day delivery but didn’t arrive till Friday

Sadly the first order was picked wrong from our end, although this error was quickly rectified the resend was unfortunately caught up with FedEx where one of the lorries that carries pallets of orders broke down.
