Good prices as always but significantly slower delivery than expected, poor courier service and not what I’m used to having been an opie oils customer for years.

Always exceptional prices and quality, the only issues lie with FedEx and their poor delivery options and tracking services. Offer to DPD or a courier that will deliver to a local collection point as FedEx does not allow this or the app never works or gives you an accurate delivery slot. It would improve customer satisfaction and reduce redelivery.

Love Opie. FedEx delivery service is poor, however. Big time windows and poor tracking. This time round both my Motul oil containers arrived dented and quite rusty on the outside. Haven't used them but don't expect any internal contamination. So 5* for Opie but knocked off 2 for the dents / rust and FedEx.

Delivery box with 26 Litres inside looks like it was used as a football, same for the other Opie packages I saw in the back of the Fedex truck. The wall thickness of the boxes is too weak to keep them in shape during transit. Every single air package was burst also. I had 2x5L that were upside down in the box and I don't think they could have spun on their own so it looked like it was packed that way.

Ordering and payment was fine, no issues but delivery was disappointing. Received email from courier to say delivery would be made by 6pm on the Friday and required a signature. No delivery and no message till following day to say delivery would be made on Monday.

Label stuck on box upside down so when it was left on driveway by courier a quantity of oil had leaked over the spark plugs, filters and a patch on my driveway. Opie replaced the ruined items but no offer to supply anything to remove the oil patch from my drive. Very glad that my wife hadn’t taken the box inside and left it on the carpet!

Price was good selection is good, had no tracking info, post was slow, if to use again have to be a week in advance, tracking number would be muchly appreciated

Thanks for the review. I can see your order left us the next working day as your order was placed after our same day cutoff. It was then delivered within 48 hours on the Royal Mail 48 service selected at checkout. We do have a priority shipping service if the order is urgent. I do apologise for the tracking issue. Each order comes fully tracked and all details are emailed over. They may have gone into the spam folder possibly.

Everything was fine except the package was very beaten up and the products were all damaged. Useable but dented. Not Opie’s fault but probably Fedex

Normall Opie oils have always been quite good, this time however I received the incorrect oil filter for the car, I had to leave the job halfway through to go and get one from euro car parts, historically I have never had an issue, so hopefully a one off, not really worth the effort of sending it back, it’s more the inconvenience that’s the issue.

The product itself was faultless. It’s delivery I have a huge problem with. £8.95 because I don’t stay on main land Scotland. Never knew Fort William was an island. Plus paying for 24hr delivery took 3 day to arrive.

Usually buy from Opie and never have any issues, this time however I thought delivery time was not the best and requiring a signature upon delivery a bit of a pain

If I order 5 litres of oil I expect it to come in a 5litre carton not 5 1lites

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for this. Due to an unexpected stock discrepancy the 5L bottle you ordered could not be found on the shelf. To save you waiting the 2 weeks for restocking we substituted the 5L bottle for 5x 1L. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I have taken a look into this and you had ordered on the Saturday when we were closed and then the order was dispatched ontime on Tuesday as stated on the order confirmation pre & post checkout. We do value the feedback, however given that we have fullfilled the order within the given dates we feel that the rating does not accurately reflect the situation. Kind regards, Sam
