The two metal cans of oil arrived promptly, however they were very battered. Thankfully they didn't leak. Packaging was poor, just a sheet of bubble wrap between them so I guess it was inevitable they would be damaged in transit. Packaging may suffice for plastic oil containers but not for metal.

Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience. We apologise for the damaged cans of oil, and for the inadequate packaging. We need to ensure that all of our products are delivered in the best condition and we agree that for metal cans, better cushioning is required. We have specially designed packaging for these tins and I can only apologise that it wasn't used on this occasion.

So..the ordering experience great!! But it went downhill from there. Opie Oils and its Delivery partner are not on the same page. It started with me being advised that the package had been picked up and would be delivered by a certain time. I double-checked this by accessing the delivery partner tracking page (and when it worked) it told me the same story. Great..but no. Opie Oils then send out 2 emails which then directly contradicted the delivery partner's estimate of delivery. The 2 Opie Oils also directly contradicted each other, giving wildly different delivery estimates. So the customer now has no clue what is happening. So I wait all day and then 10 minutes before the quoted delivery time the delivery partner then sends another email directly contradicting their earlier statements. Severely disappointed to say the least. I then had to ring the delivery partner, through their not!! amazing phone system and then find out where the parcel was. To cut a long story short..I had to go and get the parcel myself...So the moral of this story is if you order with Opie Oils good luck on understanding the delivery promises and estimates.

Although I could have got my car bits cheaper online I like to support local companies when I can, especially a supplier in my county. I Ordered the parts on the 5th of May and thought they would be here within two to three days, unfortunately, it took seven and therefore I couldn't service the vehicle on the day as planned.

Ordered oil with priority shipping and Opie despatched the items quickly but then took 5 days to be delivered.

Price, stock and special price reductions we're great however delivery of this order was bad really bad. Was delayed then delayed again before being delivered

Although I was impressed with the options available and stock in place to service my vehicle, it took a long time to arrive and when it did it was incomplete, only half the order was present. I needed the order urgently and communicated this with pictures I was asked to provide but parts were not forthcoming, I had to get a refund and source locally

In my opinion, the number of days from order to delivery was unacceptable. To be more precise the number of days from order to dispatch was the problem.

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the delay in dispatch. Due to an unfortunate stock discrepancy an item could not be located on the shelf. We then had to order the part in which led to the delay. Once again we apologise for the inconvenience this caused.

You managed to get the oil filter wrong and the quantity of oil sent was too small despite checking my registration number had to go and buy the correct filter from factors several miles away. As i was doing the oil change on saturday

My first order was delivered promptly, so I registered account, 2nd order for spark plugs took over a week to arrive, I had to let customer down

Order placed for oil then a second order placed for an item I had forgotten, messaged asking if postage could be combined but messages were apparently not seen read or replied to, follow up phone call first thing next morning, but told oil had already been despatched first thing and I would have to pay postage for the second item, oil then didn't arrive for 3 days!

Thanks for the review. I can see two orders were placed overnight, one was put through for collection from our depot and one for delivery. We had no correspondence regarding adding the two orders together so one order went to the warehouse for delivery and we emailed stating the other was ready for collection. Once this email had been replied to asking to combine the orders the delivery order had been dispatched. This meant we could not add to the box and a new order would have to be placed for the extra items with delivery.

Products arrived a couple of days late in a wet box left outside. Apart from this the service was un noteworthy.

Hi, Thanks for the review. I can see your order was delivered within the delivery estimate, however the courier should not have left it outside in the rain. I have raised this with our account manager so we can try to stop this happening in the future.

I ordered some oil and fuel additive. It took 5 days to arrive via FedEx. When it did finally arrive the items were damaged as they were with not correctly packed or had been badly handled. I asked for some compensation but instead Opie gave me a discount code for my next purchase.

Thanks for the review. We are very sorry for the damage sustained in transit. These tins are susceptible to denting with the smallest amount of mishandling. We are constantly looking into better ways to package these items and are currently trialling a new solution. The initial feedback is positive so once rolled out we are confident these issues will not occur in the future. Once again we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Fed ex did bad job of sub contracting to another courier company . Have had parcels from them before , they deliver at between 3 and 6 o'clock in afternoon. Not good when Fed ex tracker telling you 8.50 to 12.50 !

Opie oils let themselves and myself down with their price match promise, stating they couldn’t match the price I found elsewhere for the oil I wanted. The best they could do was provide a 15% discount which was readily available on line.

I placed an order with yourselves, I was told it would be with me in a couple of days or so. Almost a week later I called to see where the order was, I was told it would be at least another week and that I had been emailed to inform me of this. I didn’t receive this email.

Thanks for the review. I can see when the order was placed the item was out of stock, there is a warning throughout the checkout process and no dispatch estimate is shown. Once the order had gone though our customer service team sent a courtesy email stating stock will arrive within 2 weeks and we will dispatch the order on a priority service once landed. I can see the stock came in early and the order was delivered within a week.

Items and easy of purchase was fantastic. Got auto enrolled into a mailing list I cannot unsubscribe from because the link in the email doesn't work.
