Purchased a egr valve for my vw transporter, the threads stripped whilst fitting (bolts in straight and not fully seated so not over tightened) I re-fitted the original one (was only replacing it because previous owner put self tappers in to hold the boost pipe) now being asked to jump through hoops to return.

Very Dissappointed, Totally UNRELIABLE, did Not do that which they agreed to do. Order placed on line late evening 09/03. First thing next morning discovered oil was no longer required, phoned to have order cancelled, Received confirmation that order was cancelled before it left warehouse and card a/c would be refunded. Oil arrived by courier, so phoned again and it was promised that they would instruct courier to collect it and then refund the money to card a/c. NONE of what was promised ever happened. While I could have returned order within 14 days, I was not confident that payment would ever be refunded, they have proved be to be so URELIABLE. It has also been brought to my attention that they are more expensive and charge for delivery, so they were not price matching either. Ref order 1447016

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the experience you have had. This is not the usual level of service we aim to deliver. I can see due to human error the incorrect order was cancelled which unfortunately meant yours was dispatched. As an apology for this we arranged for UPS to collect the order on the 15th for a full refund. Looking into the UPS tracking I can see they haven't attempted to collect, for which I apologise on their behalf. We have spoken to them today and they will be collecting this as soon as possible. Once again we do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. This is not up to our usual high standards of service.

Payment was made for delivery now they they don’t delver to my address so u may refund me thanks kevin

Thanks for the review. We are very sorry for the delay with your order. I have spoken to our courier who have confirmed they are currently having issues in Northern Ireland. I have arranged for your order to be returned to us and I have processed your refund. Again I apologise on behalf of our courier for any inconveneince. This is not the service we expect from them at all.

Wrong item sent, was replaced but impacted on me having time to change the oil in time as planned

Thank you for the review. We are very sorry the incorrect product was received. I can see as soon as it was brought to our attention the correct grade was resent the same day on a priority service. Due to the sheer number of parcels leaving us, unfortunately, mistakes can happen.

Tried to cancel one of my orders before it had been shipped, was told they couldn’t do it. Ridiculous, won’t be using them again.

Thanks for the review The warehouse are very efficient in their processes and have orders picked, packed and processed very quickly. By the time a cancellation was requested the orders had already been packed and palletised. Once an order has reached this stage we are unable to locate which pallet they could be on. Not great, I 100% made sure I had changed Delivery, and Billing address on your site, yet my item was sent to the Billing address. I called ASAP, and emailed to say INCORRECT. Please amend urfently, only to be told Opie Oils xannot amend address, even though items not shipped. This then meant, me needing to pay AGAIN, place a new order, waiting 3x days for a refund on the incorrect order. All you had to do was amend the original address. Quite poor

Thanks for the review. Unfortunately, for security reasons, we are unable to change an address once an order has been placed. Refunds can take up to 3 working days to return depending on the bank.

This company, and their delivery partners, have wasted enough of my life for me to explain anymore why my order did not arrive and I will not "use" them again.

Never recieved my oil! I contacted DX As they said it’s been delivered at 10.22am. DX have failed to update me on the situation and I’ve had to reschedule my car and rebook it in for atf oil change really upset

We are very sorry for the level of service from our courier, this is not the service we expect from them. The order was delivered to the incorrect address and was unable to be located. As soon as this information was given the order was re-dispatched on a priority next day service.

Website showed 5 x Renolin oil tubs were available. I booked these and paid upfront on 12/10/2021. The next day I was emailed and told it was not in stock and the restock would be week commencing 8th November. I chased again on 8th November to be told Week Commencing 22nd November. I'm constantly being delayed and having to chase my own updates. Spent almost £2,000 upfront and I must be honest, I will not be using Opie Oils again IF my order ever turns up.

Sent completely the wrong grease, could have destroyed some really expensive spindle bearings.
