Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry about the dented item you have received. Unfortunately, the ability to ship metal tins nationwide without any sort of dent is very hard to achieve as they are extremely easy to mark, in fact we do sometimes receive damaged tins ourselves that have been sent straight from the manufacturer and these are on pallets, said tins are then discounted online. We have recently invested in varied packaging methods and have chosen to use air filled sleeves for the tins as they can protect the tins more than the previous options. But sadly nothing has completely eliminated the problem. If you experience any issues, our customer service team are always on hand and are happy to help. Thanks for the review. I can see your order left us on time and Fedex tried to deliver multiple times however no-one was in to accept the delivery, this caused the delay. As for the incorrect item, we do apologise for this. I have asked our customer servies team to get in touch and resolve the issue.

Sent the wrong filter after using their registration number look up and then expected me to pay for the return post!

Thanks for the review. I can see you have been in touch with our customer services team in regards to this. Unfortunately the filter ordered is not listed for your car under our lookup. I can also confirm the lookup hasn't changed since the order. You are more than welcome to return the filter to us for a full refund. We have an on site technical team who are happy to help with any queries regarding fitment.

Thanks for the review. I do apologise for the delay with your order. I can see from the tracking Fedex were unable to locate your address when they first tried to deliver. I can however now see your order has been delivered.

Last year during servicing my wife’s car I found I had been sent the wrong oil filter. This year for the service on my car I needed a new drain plug and it wasn’t packed in my delivery so on my one day off I was unable to service my car

Thanks for the review. I can see Fedex have tried to deliver every day last week from Tuesday but no-one was in to accept the delivery. I can confirm it is back on the van for delivery today.

Paid extra for next day delivery. All emails confirmed the next day delivery, but package not delivered for 5 days. This is more FedEx's fault than Opie Oils, but I wasted money paying for faster delivery.

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the delay with Fedex. I can see from the tracking unfortunately due to excess traffic your order arrived too late at the depot to go out for delivery the following day. Due to the bank holiday this then meant your order was delayed until the Tuesday. Once again we apologise on behalf of Fedex for the inconvenience.

I ordered an oil filter for my mini clubman 2.0 cooper s on order no 1629461. I phoned today to check why it had not arrived to be told it was annotated for collection.l explained that I marked it for free delivery,it was no made clear when I ordered the filter,l am very dissapointed having used your company before with no issues. Poor show

Thanks for the review. I can see your order was placed with the "click and collect" shipping service which is the only free option listed for your order. Our free delivery is for orders over £75. The website defaults to the cheapest shipping option due to our location in Cornwall. This means the collection option must have been manually selected at the time of ordering. I hope that clears things up.

My delivery took 10 days to arrive (via FedEx) which meant I had to order more oil locally to carry out the oil change I had planned for the Bank Holiday weekend. Really poor service and I was given absolutely no explanation as to why this happened, I'm unlikely to order from Opie again which is a shame

Took 2 weeks from order to delivery with no updates, multiple tracking numbers sent and all showed nothing. No information to why it took so long until I chased them. Very poor service from a supplier I would normally recommend.

After being promised a delivery for the next day, and paying extra for it. I told the gentleman three times that it was important that we received it the next day, as we had been let down by someone else, he assured me it would be there,. I told him my husband had 3 jobs booked in and it was urgently needed. However nothing arrived, my husband had to cancel all three jobs at a cost of £600 to us, plus liss of custom as he had to let them down at short notice. The man finally came today at 2.00pm with our order, which I have refused as it is no use to us now. When I rang up all I got was it got sent to the wrong depot. No real apology or nothing. So apart from the embarrassment of having to let customers , down loosing the money, plus the customers, you can understand why we are so angry about it.

After waiting 6 working days I finally received the oil I ordered. But it was someone else order. The invoice inside the box had all the personal details name / add/ mobile number add email only had without much trouble I could have got their dob serious breach of GDPR rules . my question was who got all my details again gdpr says you have to tell me but no in the answer on that one . They did send out replacement oil which arrived following day which was great. They said the incorrect item would be collected the following Monday . It’s Tuesday now. So not impressed. Would I use again not sure . They asked me for a review they got one . Service is king and protection of customers personal info.

Order was later than the date promised and finally has been delivered to the wrong address. FedEx has let themselves down on this order by not checking the correct post code. I have contacted them and they have shown it delivered to the wrong address. What's worse is that the person at that address has signed for acceptance of it.

Thanks for the review. We do apologise for the delay with your order. Unfortunately a combination of delays with Fedex and then the Easter bank holiday caused the order to arrive late. This is not up to our usual standard and do apologise on behalf of Fedex.

Ordered oil filter and oil using my car reg and engine type but filter was wrong and car started complaining about low oil pressure. Took car to local mechanic who was quick to express I shouldn’t rely on internet company’s. His sources only suggested two types of filter for my car compared to the several by Opie. I will say delivery was quick by Opie, not sure if I wilmm m use again though.

Thanks for the review. I can see when your registration number is entered into our website two options are shown depending on which engine is in the car. Your order was among many other orders that were received. We will always try and dispatch every order that is received as soon as possible. We do offer the option for "priority" this means that the order will be dispatched sooner. This does not mean that we will only dispatch these types of orders but instead get them dispatched quicker. Regarding the email from FedEx, your order confirmation that you receive once you place your order contains the below information: "if your order is being sent via FedEx, you may receive an email from them with a tracking number. This means that we've booked the delivery with FedEx, but doesn't necessarily mean that we've made it available for them to collect or that it's been picked up by them. The tracking number is valid, but will not show activity within the FedEx network until their first parcel scan." We strive to do our very best both post & pre sale.
