“I just bought my Lowa Renegades (Leather Lined) and never wore them yet - they will be first tested in the Lake District next week. They are really wonderful and definitely the best boots I had and clearly include a lot of technology. Excellent leather quality, very nice colour - my wife said she was impressed. Heavier than Renegade GTX (+300g I think) and not waterproof, but the leather lining makes them a bit more rigid around the ankle and supporting it better. I had enough of sprained ankles on slippery rocks in the Alps and Carpathians so I'm ok trading some extra weight and waterproofing for ankles protection. Lowa sent me the boots very fast, no problems here. Didn't try to return them so can't comment on this.”

“I’ve used Lowa for all of my professional career, now I’m retiring I’m still sticking to the brand that has looked after me for generations. It’s good to see that they put as much effort into their recreational products as they do their pro gear All in all brilliant kit, that have “never” let me down!!! Thanks!!!!👌🏻”

“I love my Lowa Renegades! This is the second pair I have bought. The first pair lasted well over 5 years of almost constant use, before the heel wore down. I probably could have gotten them re-soled but chose to get a new pair instead. My new boots arrived well within the time stated on the website and i found the whole process of buying them online very easy. (Though it did help that I knew exactly which boots and which size I needed, having bought my first pair in a shop where I could try them on). I usually wear a size 4 shoe but I go a size up with these boots. I have found both pairs of boots comfortable from the very start, with no "wearing in" needed. They are by far the most comfortable walking boots I've ever worn and I definitely recommend them.”

“This is my second pair of Lowa Renegades. The first pair were still in a good state but I had them reheeled so many times that they were worn through. So comfortable, fully waterproof. Because of wide feet I have men's shoes which are incredibly comfortable and don't look enormous. I ordered them at 1400 one day and they arrived 24 hours later, excellent service. Can highly recommend both the shoes and the company.”

“Very comfortable and supportive hiking shoes, I use the Renegade every day, my knees are not in the best of nick, but these really take the pressure off them. Service buying replacement insoles through the website is excellent”

“The quality and speed of service is exceptional. I ordered my boots they arrived next day - a bit tight so sent them back and reordered a size bigger again arrived day after so all done on 4 days amazing. Well done”

“The customer service I received from James King at Lowa was exceptional, he was incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic. He dealt with an issue I had with a pair of boots swiftly and very professionally.
