“Insanely difficult to slot in the leds into the slits. They tear, and dimple - then impossible to slide effectively into the hole as there are TWO cables leading in and out of each ball. Ridiculous design. not worth the money at all”

Hi Susan, We are really sorry to hear that you had difficulty with slotting the LED's into the cotton balls ! We are always trying to improve on our designs and are always on the look out for better ways to improve our products as a whole. We have previously tried using conventional LED fairy lights instead of our own design, however we found that there was a compromise when it comes to the brightness of the lights themselves. “Great service from Cable & Cotton as usual. I was however having to buy replacement blue bulbs for my Festoon outdoor lights. I have two sets connected, and they are beautiful and colourful all year round, but unfortunately, all of the blue bulbs have failed over time, whilst all of the other colours have been fine. Luckily the price of replacements is extremely reasonable, and well worth it to restore our lights to their full glory.”

“The led string, although very low voltage and economical to run, gives off a nice bright light which shows off the colours of the cotton balls beautifully. I think they are great value for the price and they look lovely adorning our conservatory”

“Truly awful company. Don’t buy from these people. I bought outdoor string lights that took 2 weeks to come. When they finally arrived they were broken. I tried numerous times to get a resolution but all contact has been ignored. There is no contact number either so don’t expect to speak to a person about it if there is a problem. I’ve them 5 stars as I assume your review doesn’t get published if you do less than that.”

“I still don’t know whether the parcel was delivered. Most online services send multiple messages, getting ready to shop, on the way, out for delivery, delivered. Quite embarrassing to have to ring the person that I sent the gift to, to see whether it was delivered or not. For online ordering communication is essential. Can’t answer the questions below because I have no idea”
