“Colours as expected (good colour representation online), efficient delivery, products arrived well packaged and undamaged. Good that you can choose where the colours go on the string of lights, as I thought from the website when you ‘shuffle’ the colours that would be how they arrive. Great product and service- thanks very much - everyone who see’s them has commented on how good they look...”

Dear Anon, Thank you for your post - yes it can be a challenge to get the exact right number of colours when you choose your own via the shuffle method. Dear Sara, Thank you for your email; yes, self-assembly is part of this product, although I am sorry you did not realise this. To pre-assemble all the hundreds of orders for our customers in exactly the way they would like them to be done would take a lot of time, and therefore increase the cost of the product. Doing it at home allows the customer to re-arrange the colours themselves. I do hope you enjoy your new lights. Yours sincerely, Kate

“The product was delivered quickly and in a very good condition. However, I don’t remember seeing anywhere that I would have to make it myself! I think it is fairly costly for a product that I have to construct myself, and it looks quite fiddly and very easy to ruin what looks like nicely made parts by having to make cuts in the coloured balls to fit the lights in. It has been put to one side until I have the time to dedicate to making the product, instead of being displayed in pride of place...which I paid for. Overall, I’d be reluctant to recommend and I’m not really impressed 😔”

Dear Anon, Thank you for taking the time to post your review and feedback. I am glad you like the condition of the product and that it arrived quickly with you too. Our lights are self-assembly because this gives our customers to opportunity to place the balls in the colour sequence they prefer; it would also put the price of the light-sets up if we had them made up at the warehouse. I do understand that the first time you try this it can be a little daunting but it is quite a quick and easy process once you get used to it. The balls are fairly robust (silver and gold are a little softer due to the glittering threads in these shades) and will pull back into shape if need be. It can be a nice creative process, and the best bit is when you put the lights on at the end! I very much hope that when you do have the time to do it, that you can then enjoy your new light set and out it in pride of place as you had hoped.
