Hi, your damages were never sent to AHS. As you had rental arrears they were applied directly to your rent account on 21 November 2024.

“Unfortunately there are still ongoing issues concerning the repair works here. In my opinion the claim was settled to hastily and I was unable to thoroughly review the final conclusions in my offer of what works were to be completed due to recent eye surgery. I relied on telephone calls for confirmation and to amend updates which did not happen. I felt rushed to sign the offer of settlement and should have been given a period of time of reflection and to ensure that all my necessary repairs were included which unfortunately did not happen as I am now finding out. In terms of my case I was able to send all supportive evidential confirmation which I had worked hard on to do. Finally I found the surveyor that was sent here very inadequate and only reported the very minimum of what works were necessary so I am still struggling with the communications ongoing with the housing association and their work contactors and this has not been a smooth process at all due to the haste of the settlement for which I feel was too rushed considering all the factors and the awful living conditions I have been subjected to”
