“I'm not particularly happy with out come, when I add up the time I took off work for repairs that didn't happen and having to buy new washing machine due to block in pipes I'm out of pocket. Repairs still to be done weeks after claim and have already had three visits from housing association where they repeat taking photos and no work, been 14 months without a safe kitchen floor.”

“The work was pretty basic as carried out and I’m not even certain the problem has gone but in terms of service I can’t complain. Overall professionalism was very good. Just a shame we couldn’t catch anything.”

“They have helped me so far in getting a promise to repair from my landlord and a small settlement ( not at all worth the 2 almost 3 years i have been waiting for repairs but thats its cool ) The solicitor thats been helping me is very nice and forthcoming, she is always ready to answer a question and she is very informative to the point where sometimes you dint even have to ask a question, However when you call the office the people that answer the phones are very rude and dismissive and they talk over you and you can just hear in their voices they don’t care about you or what you have to say. I record all my calls. Its better to call than to email because i have never got a response to my emails but i do get through with calls.”

“I would've rated you 5 if the repairs are done to my satisfaction. But unfortunately it's the housing associations report that is taken into account. It took too long to resolve my claim and I'm still waiting for the work to be finished... Thank you.”

“Unfortunately there are still ongoing issues concerning the repair works here. In my opinion the claim was settled to hastily and I was unable to thoroughly review the final conclusions in my offer of what works were to be completed due to recent eye surgery. I relied on telephone calls for confirmation and to amend updates which did not happen. I felt rushed to sign the offer of settlement and should have been given a period of time of reflection and to ensure that all my necessary repairs were included which unfortunately did not happen as I am now finding out. In terms of my case I was able to send all supportive evidential confirmation which I had worked hard on to do. Finally I found the surveyor that was sent here very inadequate and only reported the very minimum of what works were necessary so I am still struggling with the communications ongoing with the housing association and their work contactors and this has not been a smooth process at all due to the haste of the settlement for which I feel was too rushed considering all the factors and the awful living conditions I have been subjected to”

“These guys were dealing with a housing claim for me, certain conditions were laid out to my landlord, however I have had no updates from the solicitor unless I chase it up myself, to then be told I’m not adhering to time scale even though things should have been met by the 21st August, still no idea if compensation has been paid yet, and no work stated as yet on the house, so I feel unable to give a review at this time”

“My caseworker was good at communicating and getting back to me. However we were let down by the surveyor sent out - he was uninterested in listening to us and his report dismissed many of the issues raised, to the point where we had to rely on my landlord's survey. Even when we pointed out his report was inaccurate, backing this up with photos and evidence, he refused to consider the points raised. This was very stressful. The Solicitor becoming involved was helpful in that my landlord finally took action and we were moved out to temporary accommodation - but it is clear that they are a no win no fee solicitor with formulas - they don't get involved with the logistics.”
