“First time I’ve used Wowcher - a little confusing the fact you get a voucher which you then have use against the product you want to buy - why you don’t just buy the product directly I don’t understand - but it worked - no notification it had been despatched - but arrived early”

“WARNING - DO NOT USE WOWCHER We booked a holiday via Wowcher for 4 nights in Rome (organised by Travelolo). Once you pay the vouchers with Wowcher they then pass you over to the Travel agent who organises the holiday, and then essentially Wowcher wipes their hands of you. Our holiday package advertised by Wowcher detailed we would stay in one of two 4* star hotels with flights included. After spreaking to Travelolo, we were not offered the advertised hotels and were instead offered a hotel which we later learned had photographic evidence of bed bugs, dirty bedding, faulty appliances etc. We were also charged additional fees for flights which were advertised as included. After sending our complaints to Wowcher they continued to pass our complaints to the Travelolo who of course denied they had done anything wrong. We have since reported both Travelolo and Wowcher to Watchdog and Trading Standards, when all we wanted was a holiday. Check out WOWCHER RIP OFF Facebook page for duplicates of my story from other customers. Appalling.”

“I had problems in making my order ! My bank verified the amount, but when I tried to confirm it on my order, it said there was a problem ! I tried again with a different bank account, and again the bank verified it, but when I tried to confirm my order, it didn't accept it and said that there was a problem. My order only went through on my 5th attempt (obviously the problem was at your end) ! Also the cost did not show the 15% discount, which Wowcher asked me to claim with Code - APP15. All of this caused much frustration !”

“I haven't used Wowcher for a long time. As I remember the delivery charge, if any was eather included or clearly shown before you purchase the voucher. So I was surprised to see to receive my item i had to pay £10 postage making my £40 saving only £30. Please be upfront and include the postage in the voucher price. Let's hope the Item is as the add says.”
