Do not buy any holiday vouchers from Wowcher. The ‘trusted third parties’ are scamming for additional money / card details and won’t book anything without you paying £££ more. No response from the travel makers at all and useless customer service from Wowcher basically continually advising wait 24 hours time and time again. Shockingly bad customer service . Beware!

Thank you for your review. Please use the below, and this will guide you to complete the delivery; Wowcher sells vouchers that can be exchanged with the merchant for a product or service. If the voucher is not redeemed, eventually it will expire and it will no longer be able to be used. This information was given prior to purchase, however I will refund credit to your Wowcher account as a gesture of goodwill. This is for 100% of the value and this can be used immediately. Had a reservation for tonight (07-09-2024) for an anniversary trip with my boyfriend I received an email at 2 am on the same day (which was 10 hours before check in) saying that the reservation has been cancelled with no explanation why. I have contacted the hotel and they said that Wowcher have cancelled the reservation and that there was now no availability if I want to book. I have tried to contact Wowcher but they don't have a phone number and you have to contact them through WhatsApp where you speak to a robot that in the end just tells you that someone will get back to you in 24 hours. I have previously bought things from Wowcher and have not had a problem but after this I will not be purchasing from them again.

Used for the first time in August. When my delivery arrived the box was opened, when I tried to put the parts together a major part was missing. I sent it back, took over a week for the company to acknowledge the return, they then informed Wowcher. It is now two weeks and no refund from Wowcher they keep asking the same stupid questions over and over, I have supplied photos of the return postage, along with photos and emails confirming that the firm has received it back, still no refund, will probably end up in the small claims court. Date of experience: 18 August 2024

I am absolutely disgusted with the way that wowcher has done nothing to help after sending me badly damaged refurbished dell chromebooks. The casing is not fixed around the keyboard and they do not turn off. They are faulty electrical items that are not fit for purpose. I am an elderly lady who has saved all year to provide my grandchildren with chromebooks in time for starting senior school. I have emailed many many times over the last few weeks to receive the same email over and over requesting pics and a list of the issues. Each time I send this information I receive the same email asking for pics and to list the issues. I have an appointment this Friday with trading standards to look at taking them to the small courts . I feel I have been left with no other option . I would not purchase through them again, I have two upset grandchildren and all this could of been avoided if they had just sent me return details for my refund. Wendy

Had an awful experience from the get go! After booking the holiday, we were called with our deal- which was virtually impossible. Fly out at 10pm, have one day there but then need to fly back at 7am in the morning. (The hotel we were given was also 2.5 hours away from the airport). We were then offered an extension of an extra day but at a cost of £138. After speaking with other people that have people this deal, they have also ended up doing the same. We paid the extra because we wanted the holiday, little did we know they were only going to end up asking for MORE money. Our holiday was booked for October and they called at the end of august telling us the supplier had gone bust and our hotel had been cancelled so we need to pay another £90 to stay at a different hotel- which may I add, looked awful. I rang our original hotel to find out wowcher had actually cancelled our holiday in June! And waited 2 months to even try and contact me. The customer service team also lied multiple times on the phone to me saying they’d tried to contact me. (They had not, I checked my whole call log and argued with them that they could’ve emailed me and they still hadn’t). The ‘customer service team’ are the only people you can get through to if you ask to contact wowcher and they are not helpful at all. They just kept reiterating that it is not their fault the supplier has gone bust. Well it’s not our fault either! Why are we having to pay nearly £500 for a £99 holiday!!! We have got no where with this and all it’s caused is stress upon stress so we have now decided to get a refund of £100 for the hotel, as this is all they would offer us, even though we have spent way more than we should have done already on this deal. We will be now booking the hotel ourselves as we will not put up with being scammed by this company anymore. We have lost a lot of money and I’m writing this review to make sure other people are aware and do not fall into the same trap that we did.

Ordered goods paid for them and never received the goods. About £70 pounds worth. I would nt even give them one star. Thieving company.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Wowcher involving a £65 credit that was issued due to an item being lost or damaged during transit. While the initial issue was handled efficiently, I encountered significant frustration when I discovered that my credit had expired just a few days before I tried to use it. Given that this credit was issued because of a problem on Wowcher’s end, and the fact that it had only expired by a few days, I had hoped for some flexibility. However, when I contacted customer service, I was met with a strict response pointing to their terms and conditions, with no willingness to consider my situation. I understand the need for policies, but it’s disappointing that Wowcher wasn’t willing to make an exception or extend the credit under these circumstances. The rigid approach left me feeling undervalued as a customer, especially considering that the credit expiry was just a few days past. This experience has made me rethink using Wowcher in the future, as their customer service seems to lack the flexibility and consideration that can make a significant difference in customer satisfaction. Advice: If you have a credit with Wowcher, be very cautious of the expiration date—even if it’s just a few days over, they might not be willing to help.

You don't order a product. You order a voucher, which you then redeem on a vendors website. The vendor then charges additional, over priced, delivery charges. To cancel the order you need to message wowcher, which is takes a longer time than most other online buying sites. It's all a little overcomplicated. It's not for me.

Do not buy holiday vouchers as you don't get what you think charged me an extra £120 than I thought for a half decent flight going from one airport. I will not be buying from Wowcher again a rip off. Don't know about wow more like ooch. Disappointing DONT BUY from them cheaper elsewhere . Customer services just pass you on to others not helpful

This company should be on rip off Britan. Their contracts send faulty good and neither Wowcher or the contractor has a phone number of are interested in resolving any issues.

Brought a suitcase set from Wowcher. Then I saw that it had £20 delivery so I requested a refund within 24 hours. Was given delivery for £5 so used the Wowcher. The suitcases from ground level.co.uk haven't arrived in the delivery date, I've messaged Wowcher and they have stopped replying. Now I have to contact my bank for chargeback. DO NOT USE WOWCHER!!
