DON'T USE THIS SITE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!! My nan asked me to order one of those robot hoovers and it was 9.99. Bargain. But should've guessed it was a scam really. I went through the checkout and downloaded the app when it prompted me to. Then it told me on the screen payment failed. I took a screenshot of it. Idk why, but I guess something told me I may need it. No voucher was in the wallet either so I left it at that thinking it had failed and that it was a sign to go somewhere else. My nan is 80, she doesn't like online banking so she only gets one bank statement a month and it arrives around 12th-14th it varies. So when it came this month, i checked it because amazon had also taken money out my nan's account without permission again and I was checking that and noticed wowcher. I immediately got in touch with them to complain and report this. With the screenshot and everything. I'm still talking to them now. My nan still hasn't been refunded. They take hours to reply to you and when they do they are asking me the same damn question I've answered at least 3 times already. I've sent the screenshot and a pic of the payment. I've been at this since Thursday and it's still going. It's like they are trying to drag it out as long as possible until you give up and they get to keep the money. I work from home and I'm a full time carer, and also doing a course to improve my skills, I have enough on my plate. I understand that they may have other people to deal with but having to wait 24 hours for them to reply to me after I reply to their question is a joke. Finally day 7 now and they've given me "credit" on their site. Absolute scam. Why? Because they said I didn't redeem the voucher in time. How can I redeem something I didn't have? Your stupid site told me it failed. I've been speaking to the most incompetent employee I've ever encountered. The conversation itself seems as though I'm talking to chatgpt. The amount of times I've had to say the same thing to this person is annoying. Now they've had the cheek to ask me for feedback between 1-10. If this is how you treat people, you may want to change it to -1000 to 10.

This was a gift bought for me mum for her birthday. To begin with the ‘clinic’ was a derelict building. We were greeted by two women who never introduced themselves and never asked us who we were. One lady took us into a room for our treatment and talked us through our scalp analysis including a photograph of our scalps. This was probably the best part about the whole treatment. The lady told us that they don’t talk during the treatment to promote relaxation which we both really appreciated. We were instructed to lay on the bed and prepare ourselves for our treatment, my bed was comfortable with built in heaters however my mums wasn’t. I informed the lady doing my hair that my hair was naturally curly, so she was mindful of my hair condition. 5 minutes into the treatment there was very loud Asian inspired dance music coming from the room next door within the clinic, I initially didn’t say anything as I hoped they would have taken care of this disturbance of their own initiative however try must have assumed this was appropriate. After 10 minutes I decided to ask them what the noise was, to which one of the ladies replied “training” and continued with the treatment. Neither of the women did anything about this. I found it difficult to relax and unwind but felt like I had already done enough by pointing out this problem. Some time later my mum also asked them if they could have the music turned down as she was also struggling to relax and eventually one of the staff listened and left the room. The music was turned down but not off and unfortunately we could still hear it playing. The treatment itself didn’t live up to our expectation, the head massage wasn’t what was advertised and was cute short from 90 minutes to 60 minutes. My mum received no massage and certainly wasn’t impressed. After the treatment, they informed us that they were finished and offered us to dry our hair. My hair was left extremely knotty and difficult to brush afterwards, however my hair did feel amazing after I had finally brushed it. I didn’t take them up on the offer of hair drying. The scalp analysis afterwards was interesting and very effective. I asked to go to the toilet to which there was no toilet roll, no drying facilities and the bathroom was messy. Overall the treatment was okay, disappointing I paid how much I did and the outcome. The ladies could improve on their customer service and overall skills in the “head spa” department

I ordered an item it was faulty told by Wowcher to contact the company which I did plus this took ages to sort I paid for item to be returned no free p&p which that is terrible Was told money would go in my account so never checked Wowcher wallet ! Why would I though Complained to wowcer waste of time prob a A1 reply Basically my fault should of checked my wallet and now it’s over 3 months so I’ve lost my money Disgusting attitude they do not think outside the box Will never never buy again Be warned they do not care

Bought wowcher for Kirkley Zoo they said it was open 7 days a week which it wasn't and never had been. So it was closed when I took my 2 grandsons which was very disappointing. I also paid for it twice by accident as didn't think payment had gone through so double annoyance.

Bought 6 mini fruit trees from Gardening Express via Wowcher. 3 of the plants are dead and they've refused to do anything about it due to their 14 day returns policy. How can you tell if the plants are going to grow within 14 days when they were just dried twigs when they arrived. Shocking treatment of loyal customers. Wowcher & Gardening Express will definitely not be getting another sale from me that's for sure

I ordered a pair of pillows over a month ago and have had no delivery or information regarding the order. I tried customer service and they wanted more money to investigate. Needless to say I won't be using Wowcher again l, and by the way, this was my first purchase.

Unacceptable Service - Selling Vouchers for a Closed Business I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Wowcher. I purchased a voucher for a City Mazes escape room, only to discover after a 5-hour round trip that the business is permanently closed. This is a complete failure on Wowcher's part to ensure the services they sell actually exist. When I contacted customer service to request a refund, their response was completely tone-deaf. They advised me they would "chase the merchant," showing they hadn't even listened to my issue that the merchant no longer exists. This ordeal has cost me not only the price of the voucher but also significant time and money in fuel. Their customer service was unhelpful and demonstrated a shocking lack of awareness. I have now had to raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I will never use Wowcher again and would caution others against buying from a company that sells non-existent services and offers no support when things go wrong.

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Divine and Beauty Salon. I booked a 1-hour facial through Wowcher, but what I received was unprofessional, unhygienic, and honestly shocking. To begin with, there was no consultation at all — no questions about my skin type, skin concerns, or which facial I preferred (despite there being 5 options listed). They simply took me straight to the treatment room without any discussion. The room itself was in terrible condition — dirty, flies buzzing around, and completely unclean. They started the facial with about 3 minutes of cleansing, then 3 minutes of scrubbing, and left me alone in the room with the steam blasting for over 20 minutes. The room became so filled with steam that I started to feel suffocated. I had to search for the switch and turn off the machine myself after calling the staff multiple times, both by shouting and on the phone, with no response. When the lady finally returned — nearly half an hour later — she quickly applied a mask, did a brief and half-hearted massage, and told me the facial was over. The actual facial time was less than 15 minutes. I was stunned and incredibly disappointed. To make matters worse, while I was there, other customers were complaining about their services, particularly about hair treatments, and the staff were shockingly rude and dismissive toward them. This was by far the worst salon experience I've ever had. The staff was unprofessional, the hygiene standards were awful, and the service was nowhere near what was advertised. I strongly advise against booking with Divine and Beauty Salon—especially via Wowcher. Avoid this place at all costs.

I bought two travel vouchers via Wowcher on 23rd July, clearly advertised as a 2, 3 or 4-night stay at a 4 hotel – either the Corendon City Hotel or the Olympic Hotel in Amsterdam (with flights). The key word here is "OR" – suggesting a choice between two decent 4-star hotels. However, when I redeemed one voucher, I was contacted by Travelodeal, and neither of the advertised hotels were available on the dates I tried – not in September OR October. Instead, I was offered inferior 3 hotels for an extra £150, making the price £269 per person PLUS £150 – for a much lower quality hotel. Total bait-and-switch tactics. I even offered to pay the £269pp if there were no additional hotel charges – but they refused. No holiday was booked. I just want a FULL REFUND. This deal breaches Travelodeal's own T&Cs: > "A change is ‘significant’ where it materially alters a main characteristic of your package, including lower-standard accommodation..." "...you may then choose to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of all monies paid." It also breaches the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2014) – this was an online purchase and should be cancellable within 14 days. 🚨 Advice to Others: Screenshot the original Wowcher deal if you haven’t already. Submit a Subject Access Request to Travelodeal asking for all call recordings, internal notes, and booking data (I’ve done this). If they don’t reply within one month, report them to the ICO. You have a 14-day legal right to a refund for online purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013). If the product/service wasn’t delivered or was misrepresented, you’re protected under the Consumer Rights Act (2015). Paid by debit card? Ask your bank for a chargeback — often quicker than dealing with Wowcher. Paid by credit card (£100–£30,000)? Use Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act to claim directly from your card provider. Use Resolver to file a free complaint against Wowcher. Contact the vendor directly — sometimes they can help if Wowcher won’t. Report issues to Citizens Advice Consumer Service for Trading Standards action. Leave honest reviews to warn others and put pressure on the company I really hope this advice helps others in the same situation. I'm working my way through them.

3 days ago I bought 2 travel vouchers from Wowcher which clearly advertised a 2, 3 or 4-night stay at the 4* Corendon or Olympic hotel (see photo attached). I researched both hotels before making the booking and thought this was a good deal so I went ahead. When I had redeemed one of the vouchers I was contacted by a sales rep who didn’t offer the 4* hotel I expected (Corendon or Olympic). Instead I was offered a choice of 3* hotels for additional price of £140?? I even tried different dates (I had originally booked 19-23 Sept but preferred 19-23 Oct) neither of these dates had the advertised hotels available! I actually assumed the total price for 2 people was £269 then with additional charges on top, but no it's £269 per person ! Plus £140! For a lesser quality hotel!! I would have paid the £269 per person (which I offered to do at the end of the sales call) if there were no additional charges but I refuse to pay extra, especially as it is not the advertised 4* Corendon or Olympic hotel! Clearly this company is in breach of their T&Cs 9.3.3... - A change is “significant” where it materially alters a main characteristic of your package, including but not limited to: Change to lower-standard accommodation or to accommodation outside the agreed region; and 9.3.4 Notification and Your Rights If we must make a significant change, we will notify you without undue delay (and in any event in accordance with PTR 2018 notice periods and compensation scales). You may then choose to: Accept the revised arrangements; Accept an alternative package of equal or greater value (at no extra cost); or Cancel your booking and receive a full refund of all monies paid. And...under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2014), as the purchase was made online, I should have 14 calendar days to cancel and get a full refund. I do not trust Wowcher or Travelodeal. No holiday has been booked so where is my refund? And I was not offered the hotel that I thought I was paying for!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I have not received my order, and Punk Bike has confirmed that there is no record of it in their system. Communicating with Wowcher solely through WhatsApp is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I have requested a refund, but I now have to wait 24 hours for a response, which is completely unreasonable. It is alarming how easily they can take your money while making it nearly impossible to secure a refund or even reach customer support. Given this experience, I cannot endorse Wowcher and will actively share my concerns with others to warn them.

I purchased the mystery holiday, I was only expecting a 2 day city break which was fine. But the additional costs added on by travelodeal were ridiculous,and it would of been so much cheaper to book the trip independently than purchase this.

Order no: 49782277 I booked a 2 night break for Poland in the morning. Later that same day Russia was flying drones over Poland and NATO fighter jets were deployed. I contacted Wowcher and asked to be refunded due to the escalating situation in Poland. They refused. The holiday company rang me to book the flights and I explained the situation, they said as nothing had actually been booked, Wowcher would refund me. Contacted Wowcher again and they are still refusing to refund me!! Terrible customer service!! I would avoid this company like the plague!!

i had purchased a wowcher for the Euro millions, the site would not let me redeem voucher, i contacted your site and was given a code, still to no avail, now this voucher is timed out.??? i would like my monies back or more help to rebuy the voucher. i did not realize the time limit was 14 days which i think is ludicris. I am unable to access my computer every day so was unaware of the limit also for some reason yourreply went into my spam.
