“This is not your typically online shop. I bought two of the same items, and found out I had to pay two separate delivery fees to receive both items, instead of one. And if you're not careful you'll find out that your purchases can become invalid because it is under time constraint - that's right, you can lose your money if you don't pay delivery fee on time. The customer service team is rude and unprofessional. They tried once to credit me the total of the money lost, by not actually crediting back the funds, my account shown £0.00. I had to chase them, turns out the credit had expired?! even though it was never in my account to begin with. I complained and they re-credited me the fund on my account. So, second time around, the credit was showing on my account. I tried to redeem the credit, placed the order, and I get an error. I tried many times, and still got an error. I had to contact the customer service again, only for them to complaint that I had to contact them earlier for them to look into the issue. Frankly you are a scam!”

“First time in a couple of years buying from you.i used to buy all the time. I had trouble with having my nails done when I phoned up to .make. my appointment she Said thT she had gone out of business. I said what about. My £20 she said I would have to get it back from you. You said she would have to sign my voucher and send it back to you. Which I could not do because she wasn't there anymore and then you said she had already had .your money. So I lost my money so I was very disappointed and said 😔 goodbye to you 😢 but you have changed things now”

“I was a bit miffed that after paying for two of the same item I then had to pay separately for postage and packaging on both. If I had know that it was going to cost me £10 for two of the same items I would not have bought them … and then to be tempted to redeem the cost of the items if I buy something else which costs £15 a month!!! What is going on? I hate to think how many vulnerable people get drawn into this spiderweb. oh well it’s done now… I just hope the quality of the product is ok but I don’t think I will be using this shopping platform again.”

“Bought a product on 05.09.23 for £264 and wasn’t sure why I hadn’t got a delivery date. Messaged the whats app group and basically said “you can’t get a refund or product because you didn’t redeem your code” They’ve scammed me. And am so disappointed. Not even asked me what happened first but easy enough to take the money, I messaged after 2 weeks as I was worried if parcel was sent to the wrong place. However they didn’t even call or email me saying need to get in touch with them. Never buy from Wowcher. I was silly enough to try and they still haven’t replied to me. Avoid if you don’t want to be scammed. Even asked to pass me on to complaints and had still ignored me.”

“Do not believe these reviews, I have only used Wowcher once and I am really wishing I had never had. I bought a telescopic hedge cutter. That was £54.99. WOWCHER said I could have 10% off. So Now £49.48. Went to pay on PayPal now £54.48. I paid as I couldn't charge the amount. I get an email saying I am now VIP and I have paided £4.99 for the privilege. I then get a payment request for £3.49 for some voucher validity service that I don't want. I had no way of cancelling it so now I have a subscription to a service I didn't ask for. When I went to get the item with the voucher I found that the postage was £14.99 extra. Wowcher don't have any real customer service and it is a bit odd that you have to message through WhatsApp. If you can work out how to do it. If I had known how this company worked from the beginning I would have kept well clear of them.”

“Bought voucher from them to buy software from software-distribution.com. The company did not supply the services and admitted they never supplied some of the services wowcher advertised. This couldn’t be found out until redeeming the voucher. As many people are finding out once you redeem the voucher wowcher wash their hands and basically wash their hands. In my case after complaining they refused credit note or refund but they did change part of their advert. Exactly a month after buying the software adobe flagged the software as unlicensed and is going to be disabled. So much for buying a refurbished license via wowcher. Again wowcher not prepared to help. Always remember you are buying a voucher, it doesn’t matter if the product or service is available etc once you redeem it you are on your own. Finally the merchant company said they refunded the cost of the voucher but they didn’t have my bank details so it’s unclear if wowcher was refunded and didn’t pass it on or something else. I don’t trust either company. Think others should be wary too. This is the second of 3 purchases that weren’t as described avoid avoid avoid”

“Problems from the beginning - tried all ways to redeem wowchers, but impossible. After 4 days, wowcher fixed the problem. Things got worse - no goods dispatched. Contacted vendor - no response. Contacted wowcher via whatsapp - it takes at least a day for a response. They too contatced vendor - no response. They continue to offer deals from this vendor! After 4 weeks, I finally received refunds to my paypal account, but minus about 10% of the cost of the goods and no refund of delivery. Appalling service from wowcher. I'm uncertain as to which has performed the biggest scam, the vendor or Wowcher. AVOID WOWCHER AND USE A RELIABLE FIRM!!!”
