“Ordered a heated blanket and paid direct to WOWCHER. Item never arrived. When I enquired they said I should have redeemed a voucher to buy it which was sent to me by email. No vouchers was sent and they now say it's expired and refuse to refund. Total scam!! There is a facebook group with over 5000 customers all saying they've been ripped off by Wowcher and Watchdog are now involved. AVOID!!!”

“The company is a disgrace. Vouchers still valid for booking but expired for redeeming. Cannot speak to anyone, just the same one sentence back”

“Having purchased tickets for Peter Pan costing over £100, I received a receipt to one address and vouchers available in app under another email address. Unable to fully redeem and as per instructions on the voucher, unable to select performance and time. The vouchers in the app clearly show all steps are NOT complete. NO advisor available on the phone and WhatsApp comms over 3x days with me providing information and photo evidence only continually repeat voucher is redeemed? I have also now created a message in the app and really hope someone can resolve this. ALSO unable to write a 1 star review in wowcher app as it prompts you to submit a nickname & no matter what I put even if MMMMM the app says “nickname already used” .. very clever of wowcher to ensure NO negative reviews can be written. Has anyone else had this issue?”

“Great at getting item to you but wash your hands with you if you need to get refund on the items so don’t seem to want to know and just pass off over to the merchant. Think twice before using.”

“I refused the laptop, as I found out that I had cataracts in both eyes, was told that the item is not suitable for me, they got it back within the time for returning, they told me I would get a full refund but, 6 weeks later, still no refund”

“Absolutely appalling! Do not use them they are thieves. Took £20.00 out of my bank for the item. Then another £5 for some VIP thing I did not agree to. Items never arrived and when I contacted them about it they said it was my fault as I never redeemed the voucher which had now expired so I couldn’t have a refund! Never heard anything like this! Am now perusing through PayPal. Don’t bother othering from them!”

“This is not your typically online shop. I bought two of the same items, and found out I had to pay two separate delivery fees to receive both items, instead of one. And if you're not careful you'll find out that your purchases can become invalid because it is under time constraint - that's right, you can lose your money if you don't pay delivery fee on time. The customer service team is rude and unprofessional. They tried once to credit me the total of the money lost, by not actually crediting back the funds, my account shown £0.00. I had to chase them, turns out the credit had expired?! even though it was never in my account to begin with. I complained and they re-credited me the fund on my account. So, second time around, the credit was showing on my account. I tried to redeem the credit, placed the order, and I get an error. I tried many times, and still got an error. I had to contact the customer service again, only for them to complaint that I had to contact them earlier for them to look into the issue. Frankly you are a scam!”

“First time in a couple of years buying from you.i used to buy all the time. I had trouble with having my nails done when I phoned up to .make. my appointment she Said thT she had gone out of business. I said what about. My £20 she said I would have to get it back from you. You said she would have to sign my voucher and send it back to you. Which I could not do because she wasn't there anymore and then you said she had already had .your money. So I lost my money so I was very disappointed and said 😔 goodbye to you 😢 but you have changed things now”

“I was a bit miffed that after paying for two of the same item I then had to pay separately for postage and packaging on both. If I had know that it was going to cost me £10 for two of the same items I would not have bought them … and then to be tempted to redeem the cost of the items if I buy something else which costs £15 a month!!! What is going on? I hate to think how many vulnerable people get drawn into this spiderweb. oh well it’s done now… I just hope the quality of the product is ok but I don’t think I will be using this shopping platform again.”
