“Wowcher took the money from my account without me placing an order. The where in my basket, I saw the delivery charge that was nearly the same price as the item and didn't complete the order. I had to fight to get the money back. When they did refund, they were short by £4.99!! Still fighting to get my money back for orders I didn't place!! They are a disgraceful company and are now trying to steal from me!!”

“an expanding hose which was bought 19/4/23 Order No 44774777 burst all over my clothing and me. I cannot make contact either going thru WhatsApp or Wowcher. On Wowchers website it says if you dont see "need help" under product then they dont deal with it. You have to go onto the seller and deal with it that way. Only problem is 1) there is no order no from Wowcher to supplier 2) there is not "need help" from supplier under product, so you have no way to follow that thru. I cannot deal with any one for either a REFUND/REPLACEMENT(which I wanted) I have now learned my lesson never to use Wowchers website or any other similar one again. I am stuck with a defective hose which is needed in this weather. All I can say is that there is NO customer relations whatso ever with this website or supplier- BAD Avoid at all costs and pay a bit extra for better service!!!”

“THIS SITE IS A SCAM, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!!! I purchased an item from them, they asked for 3 payments in order for my item to be delivered, when I contacted the customer service they just sent me an automated message and that was all! I will start making formal complaints as what they do is just to cheat on people!”

“Never buy a Mystery deal. Swimming Pools. Garden Sets. Barbecues. Trampolines. Lawn Mowers and tucked in the corner of the picture a few Crappy Bluetooth Speakers. Yes. You gotvit...I paid £13 including postage and got the cheapest £3 bluetooth speaker ever. I can't even be bothered going through the returns procedure. Offer was from HCI Distribution. They must be laughing all the way to the bank. Usual Moral is so true. If it looks too good to be true, It probably is....”

“I had a similar experience to people on all the other review sites. I placed an order, money was taken, clicked where needed and item did not arrive. Now I am told that I did not redeem the voucher, and I have apparently just given then my money for nothing! Thats the end of it from them on the Wattsapp which is the only way to contact them.”

“Just a joke of customer services. Trying to have money refunded to me. Absolute nightmare of a journey. Only contact is through whatsapp and is a complete waste of time as they only give one sentence answers then your cut off before answering them. Then you have to wait approx 20hrs for them to return with another unhelpful answer before disappearing for another 20hrs and it goes on and on and still no outcome as to getting my refund. I will not give up wowcher, you have my money and I want it back. 🤬🤬”

“They scam you. Then spam you. I have been recieveing a minimum of 5 emails per day from this dodgy company about special 'deals'. With a quick look in my email inbox, I was shocked to learn that on one day I was emailed 9 separate times! Yet, I never did hear back from their one and only preferred customer communication (whatsapp) and have not received a refund for a faulty product successfully returned 45 days ago with proof of return reciept. I have spent so much time emailing, messaging and waiting. I tried a chargeback with my bank but because wowcher operate as middle-men on behalf of companies more dodgier than them, it could not be done. However, my bank did tell me I could report these cowboys to Trading Standards. You have been warned.”

“Feel completely ripped off. Ordered fruit trees from Wowcher expecting them to be delivered. Two weeks have gone by, chased up delivery on my account only to find out I should have redeemed a voucher (which I can’t find in my emails!) which has now expired…even though I only ordered them on 23 April. As it’s expired no refund is payable. It’s taken 33 hours to get a response from customer services vi WhatsApp which looks as though it’s a cut and paste from the T&Cs and didn’t answer my query. Sent a response back immediately but still waiting for a response. Read the small print very carefully!! I will never use again and would not recommend this company to anybody!”
