“Don’t deal with Wowcher they are thieves. They are in bed with social living another bent company with any reviews that you see are not true generated by Wowcher themselves along with social living you pay through PayPal. This is the way they con you”

“Bought a product on 05.09.23 for £264 and wasn’t sure why I hadn’t got a delivery date. Messaged the whats app group and basically said “you can’t get a refund or product because you didn’t redeem your code” They’ve scammed me. And am so disappointed. Not even asked me what happened first but easy enough to take the money, I messaged after 2 weeks as I was worried if parcel was sent to the wrong place. However they didn’t even call or email me saying need to get in touch with them. Never buy from Wowcher. I was silly enough to try and they still haven’t replied to me. Avoid if you don’t want to be scammed. Even asked to pass me on to complaints and had still ignored me.”

“Do not believe these reviews, I have only used Wowcher once and I am really wishing I had never had. I bought a telescopic hedge cutter. That was £54.99. WOWCHER said I could have 10% off. So Now £49.48. Went to pay on PayPal now £54.48. I paid as I couldn't charge the amount. I get an email saying I am now VIP and I have paided £4.99 for the privilege. I then get a payment request for £3.49 for some voucher validity service that I don't want. I had no way of cancelling it so now I have a subscription to a service I didn't ask for. When I went to get the item with the voucher I found that the postage was £14.99 extra. Wowcher don't have any real customer service and it is a bit odd that you have to message through WhatsApp. If you can work out how to do it. If I had known how this company worked from the beginning I would have kept well clear of them.”

“Bought voucher from them to buy software from software-distribution.com. The company did not supply the services and admitted they never supplied some of the services wowcher advertised. This couldn’t be found out until redeeming the voucher. As many people are finding out once you redeem the voucher wowcher wash their hands and basically wash their hands. In my case after complaining they refused credit note or refund but they did change part of their advert. Exactly a month after buying the software adobe flagged the software as unlicensed and is going to be disabled. So much for buying a refurbished license via wowcher. Again wowcher not prepared to help. Always remember you are buying a voucher, it doesn’t matter if the product or service is available etc once you redeem it you are on your own. Finally the merchant company said they refunded the cost of the voucher but they didn’t have my bank details so it’s unclear if wowcher was refunded and didn’t pass it on or something else. I don’t trust either company. Think others should be wary too. This is the second of 3 purchases that weren’t as described avoid avoid avoid”

“Problems from the beginning - tried all ways to redeem wowchers, but impossible. After 4 days, wowcher fixed the problem. Things got worse - no goods dispatched. Contacted vendor - no response. Contacted wowcher via whatsapp - it takes at least a day for a response. They too contatced vendor - no response. They continue to offer deals from this vendor! After 4 weeks, I finally received refunds to my paypal account, but minus about 10% of the cost of the goods and no refund of delivery. Appalling service from wowcher. I'm uncertain as to which has performed the biggest scam, the vendor or Wowcher. AVOID WOWCHER AND USE A RELIABLE FIRM!!!”

“Nightmare trying to redeem voucher. Tried my laptop. PC phone and app. Gave up and asked for refund. Sorry this has reduced the liklihood of using Wowcher again”

“Never buy from Wowcher there customer service is non-existent, they take over a day to respond on Whats App and when they do they refuse to compromise on a customer issue they have zero back up they have wasted a weeks’ worth of calls & emails between us and the Alexandra house hotel in Swindon. This whole saga has left us out of pocket by £220 and caused my wife undue stress at a time when this is very unnecessary. I urge anyone to think twice before parting with money to Wowcher, Wowcher I doubt you have time to read your negative reviews but if you do this is reference order numbers, 45539100 & 45544285.”

“Paid by card Didn't get confirmation number. Then when I got back in to get number I had ro pay separately for delivery. Put my card details in again and same thing happened. No confirmation of payment. Pretty worrying.”

“Due to complicated process of ordering a bench that I really liked I mistakenly ordered 3 ! I was told I could not proceed and did not recognise my post code. Consequently 3 orders went through without me realising. I emailed you only to be told emails address has changed and couldn’t even leave a message on the phone. I’m completely frustrated . Please advise me how I can cancel 2 of the items and refund my money paid by credit card”

“DO NOT BUY from Wowcher. I purchased a garden hose, they took the money from my account. I had no email confirming the purchase and no order number. I am elderly and got sucked into this dreadful scheme. I have written to head office twice and still awaiting a refund - which obviously is not going to happen. So if you don't want a lot of hassle steer clear of this company. Also I have asked them to delete my email address so I am not bombarded with their wonderful offers but I still get many emails each day.”

“Iv never used wowcher before so i thought i was buying 2 door canopies when really i was buying vouchers, i wouldnt have done if id known. I have tried to get my £80 back but as the voucher was only for 14 days they wont give me the cash back. How can they just take youre cash you recieve nothing and you cant get youre cash back. My mistake but i really didnt know how the site worked. Should be better explained at the beginning before purchase but no it far down the page in small letters.”
