Paid for a Samsung wireless charger at great discount from its RRP. Checkout added VIP membership in an underhand way. Goods described incorrectly as they are not samsung at all, just cheap Chinese copy. From what I saw and have read, delivery is around 2 weeks, oddly around the 14 day period wowcher refuse refunds from. Luckily my story is just under £10 with half being the stealth sale of VIP. I doubt the item will show up or be of the type you worry will burn your house down. Seen ads on TV so assumed legit and got caught up in their FAKE discounts and potential rip offs, a cheap Chinese copy is not the genuine items rrp and big discount. Many horror stories on these thieves when you look.

Disgusting Service I purchased a wireless rechargeable hair curler, this was poor quality and unworkable for me, the charge didn't last long enough to do a full head and it was by no means easy to work with, totally not like the video. I returned this product to the address supplied by wowcher and asked for a refund. i contacted wowcher through their what app chat to ask why I had not received my refund they said they had not received the package, I then provided a copy of the royal mail delivery signed for docket, they still say that they cant find the product at their warehouse even though I have provided receipt of delivery. I still haven't received a refund and have taken it up with Resolver who I haven't heard back from from 02nd Nov. I am really disappointed with the customer service. Wowcher replied and said an email had been sent to me, but no email has been received, so issue is still unresolved. I don't understand how they can treat customers like this. Worst online purchasing experience ever! Customer Services are appalling, online chat is a joke, sometimes taking several days to reply. No telephone number. I ended up complaining to my credit card company and they refunded me. I'm astonished that Trading Standards allow them to continue in business!

My sister booked a holiday via Wowcher to Eygpt for the 7 days cruise & 7 day stay with Travelodeal Ltd, we booked 31/10 but the travel company rang my sister saying they couldn't book for that date. It turns out a holiday advertised as £489 ended up costing £800+, they hounded my sister and made her poorly. We couldn't get our money back because we had redeemed the voucher??? If the travel company didn't book what we needed and were hiking up prices how have we redeemed?? She accepted a wowcher credit. She the booked us on a holiday to Budapest for 4 days, they never sent confirmation details of what we had booked and were asking for invoicing address?? She was so stressed she asked me to deal with, we went on holiday and when we came back Gareth had not booked anything, we still had not received a confirmation email detailing the holiday. I asked for money back and sent numerous emails to the trader all rejected. Therefore, as our contract was broken by the trader it cannot be classed as redeemed. I have been onto Wowcher several times, sent them an email from my sister to authorise myself to act on her behalf, sent them proof of returned emails, and one is put onto a roundabout where you have to repeat yourself. I did get a call from Stanley on 7/11 from Travelodeal, but when I confirm what is said the emails are returned again. We are two 60+ ladies hoping to get our well earned money back. I have had to book the holiday myself and we are going on 4/11, we need our money back to pay for it. Susan Rigney on behalf of Mary Plumpton

Don't bother, most of merchandise is cheap Chinese tat from 3rd parties. Getting refunds is virtually impossible although as the UK retailer they are obliged to give you a refund including postage for faulty goods. Customer service would be better run by a clown training school because this lot don't even qualify as clowns.

Absolutely disgusting service. Wowcher have stolen money from me for an item supposedly delivering by 21/10 at the latest. After nine emails to the merchant and hours on whatsapp ‘Evelyn’ refuses to raise my issue to a manger and the merchant wants another 10 working days due to non existent postal strikes. This is not acceptable. The merchant in question is on trust pilot with scores of people advising they are con artists and don’t deliver. I just want my money refunding when I have no item!

Terrible contact service. Could not redeem my voucher. Was told to contact merchant, which I did, and was told I had to pay more money. Tried to contact wowcher, which is near impossibility, so have now angrily given up. Lost my money, but more angry at the lack of help from wowcher or merchant. Order number42964517

I purchased a spa day through wowcher with an expiry of 19th October. I tried to use the voucher 3 weeks ago and have been told it expired even though my confirmation clearly states I had until the 19th October to redeem it. I have tried numerous attempts to contact the customer service team with them either ignoring me or being rude via what's app. Wowcher have treated me appaulingly with no respect or compassion and have been unwilling to offer help with my complaint. I would just like a refund for being mislead into buying a voucher with false confirmation details. The voucher wasn't redeemable because of an error on your part not mine. I will not be buying from you again!

I bought a spa experience on Wowcher but the spa was unavailable during the voucher dates. "No problem" I thought because I'll just get a refund. I must have misread the terms and thought an automatic refund comes through 14 days after the voucher expires if not redeemed, so I waited. It turns out I was wrong and I should have requested the refund within 14 days - my mistake. But I asked Wowcher for a refund and explained the situation. They were unsympathetic and unwilling to refund the money even though I got nothing in return and it cost them nothing. I had to argue a case and only got Wowcher wallet credit. They also applied the wallet refund before I confirmed I'm ok with that. The customer service agents were very rude. I think it's terrible that a large company won't just refund what is a small amount to them, but considerable for the average customer. They could easily have given a refund if they wanted to (a simple bank transfer even), but instead chose to keep a hold of the money in some form. I also only had ONE WEEK to use the wallet credit they added, giving me very little choice and flexibility. I would strongly advise people to avoid them.

No delivery date available or real correspondence. Not had a delivery as yet. I don't care for vouchers to redeem. The product l ordered is the reason l purchased or should l say want to purchase.

ITS A SCAM I HAVE PAID £150 FOR MATTRESS INSTEAD OF SENDING ME MATTRESS THEY ISSUE VOUCHER AND THEN CHARGE ANOTHER £20 FOR SHIPPING VERY DISSAPPOINTED FROM TEHM

I purchased a Bannantyne voucher from wowcher. I was sent a email that clearly states that the redemption date is the 29th October 2022. When I tried to use the code it had expired, so I contacted customer services. Mary told me that it had expired even though i was within the timeframe. I therefore asked for a refund as I would have redeemed the voucher if the correct redemption date had been on the email. Her response was to end the chat I am now going to dispute the transaction with my credit card compny.

Hi please avoid at all costs buying anything from wowcher. I’ve just been ripped off £85 spa treatment for 2 because they’re stating it’s expired even though I’ve an email stating it’s valid till 29th of October. Their customer service is appalling and clearly their website doesn’t work. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Still haven’t received order, expected delivery date now passed, Wowcher have washed their hands of the order and say to contact the supplier and they can’t give any further updates… wow indeed

I bought a tablet with a case for my great grandsons birthday it never worked i tryed to return it for a refund but was told i couldn't return it i payed over £50 with case plus delivery i am disgusted with the way ive been treated all i get on the tablet when switched on is everything in Chinese will not change i would suggest that anyone should bither buying 1 i will never shop on here again

I WAS FOOLED THINKING THAT THE DELIVERY WOULD BE FREE IF PURCHASED THE ITEM. SO I DID AND LATER FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER £9.50 TO GET MY ORDER DELIVERED. If you think this is an Ethical way to do business, I think you are very Deceiving and not TRANSPARENT. ZERO out of 10 Ratings.
