“Totally a scam company. Bought a mattress £89.99.plus £19.99 delivery. Item never arrived. Send many messages via WhatsApp group. They never replie. Same with email. I've had to escalate a PayPal dispute with these bafoons. I would not advise any dealing with them .pure scam company. Read trust pilot reviews about them .they are all over the Internet as being scamers AVOIDED AT ALL COST BRUTAL COMPANY.”

“So Wowcher reimbursed my spa day vouchers as wallet credit ...which I now can't use. Been informed of website issue' and to retry in 3-5 working days. 5 days is credit expiry. How convenient. Just want my money back. I will take this further!!”

“I received 140e waller credit and am.unable to use it. Despite doing everything correctly I am 9 days in touch with their customer services team over email and WhatsApp. I've sent so many explanations and screenshots and every 24 /48 hours I get a new person sending me a generic list of steps on how to pay for a deal. Effectively I'm unable to use the credit which was a reimbursement of money I had spent but not used on a voucher so it's my own money. A manager called Nigel Drake is in touch on email and even getting the same drivel from him. They're no doubt a complete farce of a company and I'm beyond shocked at how they treat customers. I've been using Living Social for years. I'll never spend another cent with them”

“After weeks of trying in vain to contact the merchant to redeem my voucher, I tried to elicit help from Wowcher. This proved impossible as there is no way of contacting them. I then opted for a credit voucher, and was credited with a random amount which constituted about 40% of what I had paid. Again, there is no-one to complain to. This was my first experience with Wowcher, and it will definitely be my last.”

“Absolutely useless product - ordered two chargers which don't even fit the devices they pictured in the advert. Had to pay for delivery, then about 20 emails with the company who originally just offered me a £5 refund to 'save the trouble of returns during Covid'! Still battling to get some of my money back, even though I'll have to pay the return postage as they refuse. Will never use again, unreputable sellers, poor customer service, and useless returns (which for an online retailer should be an essential service)”

“Bought spa day vouchers in October, venue wouldn't let me book till January 2023 as Wowcher deal not on till then. Just tried booking .voucher expired end of October. WhatsApp a bot that keeps shutting me down...lost 170quid. Never ever again”

“Unethical company!! First and last experience with Wowcher! Ordered boss watch on 9th dec. Money took out straight away even though I hadn't redeemed voucher until 20th. Still not received watch. Their Whatsapp is a bot and told me to contact seller which I've done 3 times but no reply. When I click on refund link it takes me back to help page (just a circle). Rang their customer service line and options refer you back to website. This has been a very upsetting/frustrating experience. My son's watch didn't get here for xmas or new year. If someone doesn't contact me I am raising a dispute with my bank/sue wowcher if I don't get the watch or my money back.”

“My children saved their weekend job money to buy a night in a hotel for me as a present. The hotel closed its doors to holiday guests before I went and refused to reply to emails etc. I contacted wowcher to request a refund or credit. They at first refused then started ignoring emails and cut off the live chat . Eventually after persisting they gave a credit failing to explain how to use it by the time they replied it had expired as the credit was only valid for 5 days! They then ignored further attempts at emailing. Their customer service is appalling they don’t care whether you receive what you paid for or not. I would never buy from them again. Their refund/ credit policy isn’t worth a jot and if you don’t receive what you paid for tough luck. Save yourself the grief and buy elsewhere as it’s not that cheap in the end and there is definitely no refund!! Disgusting company read other reviews and you will get the picture.”

“Absolute scam ! Avoid at all cost not all is as it seems! I purchased a deal for Microsoft office. When going on the app it tells me my voucher is ready to redeem however each link I click or instruction I follow is leading me to the same pages in which my attempts are failed. I have been led to another website which my deal is apparently through (zak learning) which is just a page that is frozen and wont allow me to input any information. I then tried searching directly for the website on my search bar and my voucher code is apparently invalid ( I bought it 2 days ago and is still in date). I am still yet to find any chance to contact anybody from wowcher for help or advice as the help page just redirects back to the page FAQ'S that does not answer my query. The closest I have come to a solution is the same as many other reviews state that I can transfer the voucher into my wowcher wallet, this does not suit me as I would like to put the money towards the product I am actually wanting and will not be purchasing anything through wowcher again, I will be strongly advising against it to anyone I know!!”

“Purchased 3 wreath making class Wowchers for a birthday treat but the merchant cancelled our date and tried to offer alternatives that were not suitable. They then said they would reinstate our original date but we had to pay extra on top to take our creations home with us. This was never mentioned anywhere in the terms & conditions so we decided to make alternative arrangements and did not attend the class. The merchant told us we would need to claim a refund through Wowcher! Absolute joke as the truth is you cannot actually get a refund from Wowcher! They credited 2 of the vouchers back to my Wowcher wallet but claimed that we had redeemed the 3rd even though we never attended and it takes about 3 days to get anyone to help you on their sham of a customer services what’s app chat! You cannot talk to anyone in person and after about 4 attempts to use the whats app chat I finally got someone to deal with the matter on 23rd Dec. I was finally issued 3 x credits of £24 only to find that they all expired on 23rd Dec before I could use them. I’ve gone through the whats app nonsense again and asked where the credit is and they’ve said once a credit has expired that’s it they don’t have to do anything else and I can’t re-apply for further credit, so they’ve basically stolen £72 from me in the middle of a cost of living crisis!!! Please do not use this sham of a company! They will steal your money and don’t even have to talk to you! Any further whats app messages I send are just ignored. I will be taking this further”

“It may be my fault for not checking earlier but I've been waiting for my parcel for over 3 weeks. Today I found out that the postage was separate and I had to pay £1.99 for each pair of kids tights ( I believed over 4 pairs free postage. Not only not got them for Christmas not now feeling ripped off.”

“DO NOT buy from Wowcher.com. it is a rip-off. I had a very bad experience with them! I bought a voucher for a saloon, when I called the saloon they said I have to pay extra (double the voucher) and I decided to cancel the voucher! here, what wowcher.com does is they give you credit in your Wowcher.com wallet instead of refunding you back to your original payment method. I didn't mind and I thought I would purchase something later. when I checked my credit it was expired! because I had to use it within 3 months! so they took my cash, turn it into credit on their website, and took it out of my wallet (using the word expired) without receiving anything in return! to me, this is stealing!! I tried their customer service, but they kept repeating, it is expired! how cash can become expired! and that was my cash! they literally took my cash out of my wallet!!”

“Ordered a Simba mattress for £199.99,a good price yes , but I missed the punctuation marks that changed a cheap mattress into a Simba style mattress. The returns require somebody with Herculean strength to roll it up etc etc . These are scammers of the highest order . Don’t use them !!”

“I was in Wowcher credit of 12.99 and wary of buying another Wowcher bargain l opted for one of their mystery boxes advertised as 20 homeware essentials, more fool me as it was the biggest load of cheap tat going. The contents were as follows 3 small tealights, 3 x 6" plastic rulers, Xmas face mask, industrial size sardine can opener, wide tooth plastic comb, plastic hair clip, cork drink coaster, warped mouse mat, pumice stone, 2 plastic door wedges, earbud holder and 5 items which l have no idea what they are or what their purpose is. I have contacted Wowcher via WhatsApp to complain only to be told l will hear back within 72hrs. Shoddy firm, Shoddy goods. Caveat Emptor.”
