“Wowcher's Whatsapp Customer Service is terrible. I pay for VIP (which they sneakily hid on a previous order - I didn't choose it. £4.99) service to have people end conversations in the SAME MINUTE they connect to me and also not answer the issues I bring up. Avoid this company. If you see a deal on there, contact the hotel/company directly instead. I've had two of their vendors admit that they always get complaints about people who work with WoWcher.”

“DO NOT deal with this company. They sell you tickets with a minimum time in the destination, then the merchant offers you flights that mean you do not get the minimum time in the location as “no other flights available”. Then I offer to pay more & funny enough the flights become “available”. So to meet the minimum time in the location as per their T&C’s, I need to pay another £300! I don’t think so. What a thieving company! Not happy & no refund offered! Said I need to deal with Travelolo, Travelolo said I need to deal with Wowcher!”

“Very poor would never buy again off this website when going to order your item there’s a box already ticked for some random vip package that no one wants and by the time you purchase your item it’s too late your stuck with a vip pass with no use of it. Bang out of order”

“Tried to cancel my order, got put through to a 'bot' that informed me someone would be in touch within 24hours. A day later still no contact, still holding my money. So much for No quibble-Money back guarantee! They make it as hard as possible to get in touch with them! Fobbed off by a 'bot'. Seems indicative of this company. Let the Buyer beware!”

“ordered an item of wowcher and i did not like it had to wait for a whatsapp reply to tell how to send the item back i then did as they asked an sent the item back to them they acknowledged that they had received it back but i never got a refund off them opened a case with resolver and they kept asking me if i would like a replacement or a refund i kept telling them i would like a refund and still kept asking me the same question they had no intention of giving me a refund they kept the item and the money, they have the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I am an elderly disabled man in my eighty's and feel very cheated!!!”

“Product I received didn’t work, emailed wowcher and the company with no response. Contacted them on WhatsApp who emailed the company. Still no response for over a week. Whatsapped Wowcher again who wanted to contact the company again (I bought this product 7 weeks ago). I said no and the only way to get any sort of refund is through the wowcher credit. Currently at work whilst WhatsApping to receive messages like “you there”. Is it 16 year olds running the customer service?”

“I was given a woucher as a Xmas present and it expired in 3 months without me even been aware. When I ( due to COVID) did get round to using it it gave me the next day to use it or it expires. There was no event on the next day so even if I wanted to use it there was nothing to see. I emailed Woucher and all I got back was pages of useless information. Basically woucher making it really hard and long winded for me to find out the info I needed. Probably hoping I would give up. All tactics I'm sure the discuss in sales/profit meetings. A simple telephone line or live messaging service would solve all this. At present I would never buy or ask anyone to buy as s gift anything from the company that hides away to make profit. Disgusting”

“If the process works it may be ok, however, if it does not and something goes wrong, don't expect your money back as they seem to operate outside of the usual rules of consumer protection.”

“I purchased a Wowcher for a hotel stay for my partners birthday on 15th November 2021. The hotel never responded to my many emails and calls regarding the booking. Wowcher finally agreed to assist but would only provide me with credit, which was done on 18th December 2021. The credit has since been removed from my account as it was not used within 3 months. This is absolutely disgusting. I am now out of pocket to the sum of £178. Who has this money gone to? What gives you the right to keep my money and provide me nothing in return? This is as a result of Wowcher doing business with a company – OMG HOTELS - who don’t respond to their customers. DO NOT USE WOWCHER! AWFUL COMPANY, AWFUL PARTNERSHIPS AND AWFUL SERVICE!”

“If The option was 0 stars I would have selected it. Wowcher are fine to buy from if items arrives with no issues but if it is damaged or not working they have no interest in refunding you. They just want to keep your money and fob you off until you give up trying. Avoid this company at all costs is my recommendation as they don't believe in consumer law for refunding!”

“I brought a bistro table off of wowcher..no where did it say I would have to pay £19.99 postage additional.. Item came broken so spent over 10 days trying to contact wowcher. who use whatsapp and no voice call options.. Didn't answer my query..in fact went around in circles.. Contacted merchant who sold bistro set..they were more helpful but said needed to get money from wowcher..in the end went to PayPal and logged a dispute..the company are a joke..do not care about aftersales care or you.. Save your money buy from a reputable store who will actually support you if things go wrong..”

“Not clear how to order. No refund. Went to woucher wallet. Difficult to reorder another voucher & doing this by WhatsApp?? No contact number to talk to anyone. Extra charges put in at end. If you didnt check you would be charged VIP?? Still not sorted & it seems whoever I'm talking to isn't really there??”

“Everything. You name it, it went wrong. Apart from eventually getting a refund. You cannot get a phone number and cannot talk to anyone. Even my bank gave me a phone number to no avail. Shocking and frustrating.”

“I redeemed a voucher for a bottomless afternoon tea for 4 people £83.00, when we arrived at the event it was closed, we had no communication to let us know. I am now trying to get my money back. Wowcher are telling me to get the money back from the merchant & the Merchant is telling me to get the money back from Wowcher. I am just being sent round & round in circles.”

“I was bought a voucher as a birthday present, unfortunately it expired before I received it and Wowcher would not refund. Asked for the code because the spa would have honoured it, but this was refused. Two experiences from this; Wowcher is a disgrace and the spa excellent for their kind offer.”
