“I recently purchased 2 x Zoom teeth whitening vouchers, when I called company to redeem these, I was told that they have no dealings/offers with Wowcher/Groupon! I have been trying to contact Wowcher to obtain a refund but your customer service process is ridiculous! Your Whatsapp automated chat is unbelievably useless. I most definitely won't be using Wowcher again & will be going out of my way to NOT to recommend to family/friends.”

“Please avoid this rip off company , I ordered A neck massager over two weeks ago arrived and did not work , I contacted Wowcher customer services to provide details to them requesting a video , the video got provided then they wanted date of purchase , Wowcher code , again next e mail a photo of the product , done all the above to the customer service under the name of Stacey going back and requesting all the above all over again , iv asked for a refund numerous times and exchanging e mails for over two weeks , the latest for me to return the item And I will have to pay the cost of postage . Unbelievable, the customer service is appalling I didn’t realise it would go back and fourth on e mails over a faulty item I had ordered . I will never order off this company again after being a customer for many years and to then try and get a refund for a faulty item and the stress of all the e nails avoid this company . They are trying all shapes not to refund me the item and keep repeating on The e mails the sane things over and over .. my review score is 0 out of 5 .. treat customers this way they never return ..”

“Booked a weekend break in Rome going from Gatwick. When we tried to confirm the arrangements we were told we would fly out of Luton and back to Gatwick - totally ridiculous!!! We were offered the chance to fly in and out of the same airport for an extra charge - this would have doubled the cost of the break - horrible!! We tried to cancel but Wowcher effectively said all deals are final. When we tried to call the operator back there was no answer. We were taken in by a complete con - please do not use Wowcher - it will either cost you a lot more money or you will lose your money!!! The operator is called Weekender Breaks - avoid them; they will cost you money!!!”

“Absolute scam artists! How this company is still allowed to trade I will never know after reading all the 1 star reviews. They lack any sort of professionalism or standards of customer service. They are impossible to get hold of. There is no clear complaints procedure on their website. Quick enough to take your money but half their deals don't even exist, the Wowcher codes aren't recognised or they expire within days of purchase and you are left out of pocket with no way of claiming it back or speaking to a real person. Reported them to Trading Standards also.”

“This website is a proper con , they lyre you to buy something highlighting attractive deals and when u buy it and want to return , they ask you to pay for postage . I was asked to pay a postage to completely irrevalent item sent to me . Contacted customer services 3 times about this none of them could help me . It's a very very poor delivery from their side.”

“Today I received a bag with the offer bought in Wowcher. Christmas Mystery Cake Decoration Set - 50 items Wowcher Living social 10£ + 1,89 P&P (https://youtu.be/pJQKv38JuRc) Stinky and cheap stuff, not worth even 2£ If you know what to expect, you will avoid it. Save your money!”

“Very misleading listing. Any reasonable person would think that if you buy 10 of something, you would only pay postage once. Turns out you have to pay 10 separate postage costs, £7 each. £70 of postage isn't very appealing!! Then when you want a refund you have to deal with a WhatsApp bot, which constantly tries to make you accept credit instead of a proper refund. Very scammy behaviour!”

“Abysmal service... and I'm only rating 1 star because I have to. This has been the most appalling and dishonest customer service I have ever experienced. And the partner company I bought the prehistoric IPAD from through them. They are a scam. I've provided numerous evidence and no one bothers to look. I was told I would receive a refund that never happened. I've now gone to trading standards and am making this public to as many sources as I can. Please stay away.”

“I ordered a watch before Christmas as a present and paid extra to ensure it was delivered before Christmas. It wasn’t delivered, and despite numerous chase ups to both Wowcher and World Wide Watches which was where the watch was from, and being advised it had been dispatched, it was never received. I have finally been refunded from Wowcher but will never use them again. Extremely poor customer service as you can never speak to anyone. You just get an automated message advising your complaint will be looked into.”

“like a previous comment, I too accidentally purchased 3 vouchers instead of one. I was informed I could not be refunded for the extra 2 vouchers ( a total of £128.000) & would have to have a wowcher credit, that credit was due to expire on the 25th Jan when I contacted them I was informed to call back on the 25th & it credit expiry date would be extended I did contact On the 25th I again sent a chat message on Facebook with no reply, my credit has now disappeared why was I told I could not have my visa card be refunded”

“A customer service operated by arrogant obnoxious individuals. Great until you encounter a problem then when you realise is that they have gone out of their way to remove all contact between Customer and themselves in person. I love it when companies do this, as it immediately highlights the lack of interest they have in providing any service to you. When you finally get a response 24 hours later on WhatsApp you then realise you’re dealing with such an obnoxious tool of a man that evidently they are trained and have it approved to be the absolute toss pots that they are. The arrogance of people who apparently seem to have delusional ideas about their own position and authority in life, whilst patronising and treating you with content believing they are somehow superior. My favourite is I’m trying to force you to not have a refund but to take credit so they don’t have to then give you your money back. Again this is clearly another example of their somewhat deceptive behaviour as you are entitled to a refund, why would I want a voucher credit voucher but I could only spend with them rather than have a refund when I can spend that money anywhere else globally. Didn’t really use in a great deal in the first place, and you could be giving me something for free, but if it was from Wowcher I’m sure you can imagine where I tell them quite happily to go and stick it.”

“Wowcher advertised a glow in the dark Fort building kit reduced from 69.99 to 16.99. The product took 4 weeks to arrive from China, the product did not glow in the dark the product was flimsy and was pretty much plastic balls and straws, it game with a sheet which would only cover 1 side of the fort, a very poor product and was not worth the money paid”

“So this site rates them nearly five star, interesting that as all the other review sites don't rate them at all. Going off my own personal dealings with the company one star is being generous. So if you believe the let's say carefully crafted reviews on here and don't take note of the more realistic reviews on other sites then I can only say you deserve all you get. “I'm a pensioner with mental health issues I was refused a refund of over £80 on NOT receiving items I had issues with 2 sofas I ordered. Unable to speak to anyone. Absolute disgusting company you must need my money more than me. I hope people read this to see what a totally awful company you really are I wouldn't recommend you to anyone in fact I'd tell them NO NO NO NO NO NO”
