“Secateurs had efficient cutting mechanism but very, very stiff to open, close and lock. It took quite a while, considerable patience and a lot of 3 in One oil to loosen them up and the 'holding' tab it still very stiff. Not a problem I have had before.”

“It took a long while to be delivered 8-10 days and then the replacement blade did not fit . I would try to return but have lost the will.”

“Delivered quickly and packaged well. My only moan is the price. It is clearly set monopolistically in Switzerland as all retailers have the same price. There is clearly a big profit margin on the blade imposed by felco Switzerland as the product with handle is only a couple of pounds more than the blade. This blade is amazingly sharp and does a great job. The profit margin on it is my beef”

“I purchased these ergonomic secateurs in May, after using only about half a dozen times the mobile side of them popped off. I deliberately chose these as they were marketed for ease of use and I do have arthritis. The supplier kindly fixed for me but I am apprehensive now. Time will tell if they live beyond another half a dozen uses. I have NEVER paid such a large sum for secateurs and have to say I am disappointed thus far. I am still using some I bought decades ago for a fraction if the price I paid for these with their lifetime guarantee. As I say I am apprehensive and just a tad sceptical.”

“As an elderly lady wishing to purchase a pair of Green Handled Ladies Secatuers I was somewhat disappoionted to be informed I could not place the order over the phone and was instructed that I could only order online! Your colleague told me the model number to replace the ones I currently owned(but have lost) was No 6. I was able to ask a friend to kindly order these for me last week, they subsequently arrived on Saturday. I can confirm they are up to the standard of my old ones, but would have found it more helpful if the wording "Suitable for Ladies" was used in the catalogue.”

“Order was meant to arrive next day.Did not arrive until 2 days later. I phoned to say parcel was not arriving next day and was told a refund would be issued for next day delivery charge. No refund received. Sent an email and refund ha now been received”

“I've been really looking forward to getting my own pair of Felcos. Frustratingly, after a day of using them, I realised I couldn't loosen the bolts to take the secateurs apart. I've been trying to take apart my secateurs using the Felco tool, but the bolts absolutely will not move. So much so, the tool slipped and damaged the bolt. So I'm a bit miffed. I'm a professional gardener and have taken apart Felcos in the past many a time. These have come way too tight. Everything else about the item seems fine.”

“Your Felco no.7 have a terrific reputation and I love mine. I bought some as a present but sadly the red cover of the rotating handle kept falling off. As they were less than six months old, I expected that a replacement would be forthcoming. Not so. After a few exchanges of email these secateurs were eventually returned and I now have them back again having been repaired. It remains to be seen if they are as good as new - I hope so.”

“Great quality secateurs would never buy another make. But unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars due to the very poor packaging. I ordered two pairs and paid over £150 and they arrived in a black bin bag with a big of bubble wrap. One plastic packing of the secateurs was crushed. Luckily was not damaged. Contacted Felco but felt they reply was not adequate that that's how they usually package!! Very disappointed in packaging and customer care!”

“Not too impressed by the website. Sparse information. Purchase was ok and delivery time satisfactory a week before Christmas. Bought as a present so disappointed that the plastic packaging was split with bits missing so was probably damaged before wrapping. Too late to send back and it was only the packaging but still disappointing for a premium product.”

“Unfortunately the spring came out of the secateurs on the second time used and was lost in long grass . I have already raised this and a reply was received from Lorcan on 27th July but it does seem strange that such an important element fell out so soon . I have an older pair and this has never happened to date . The springs are not cheap to replace !”
