Sorry to hear of the problem. Was the outer parcel damaged and did you sign for the parcel as damaged. Can you let us have an image of the parcel and the damage to the contents. Please e-mail these directly to us at mailorder@wonderlandmodels.com

The postage and packing is extremely high at £7.95 for some animal figurines. Also unacceptable - a tatty box filled with tiny bits of shredded paper that end up everywhere. Can't even claim to be eco-friendly as the animals themselves were wrapped in bubble wrap, but not secured so they slipped out. The Schleich and Papo figures have come in sealed plastic bags from other retailers, but none of these were, so everything was covered in bits of dust and scraps of paper. On the plus side, delivery was really fast and they had some figures I wasn't able to get elsewhere.

Thank you for the review. Your order was for just under £100 of animal figures and given that value we have to send the parcel by courier for a cost of £7.99. When packing these animals, our main concern is to ensure they arrive undamaged by the rigours of transit and we tend to err on the side of caution and perhaps do overpack them on occasions.

I've been a customer of WLM for well over 15 years now and generally, they do well. My only gripe with them for a long time was their website didn't reflect their stocks. Too many times I would place an order only to get an email a short while later saying something wasn't in stock. Usually, they would ask if I wanted the rest of the order shipped with the OOS item shipped later or to change the order. A year or so back when they revamped their website it seemed to reflect OOS items, which was great. Except it didn't on a recent order, an item was still OOS, and what made it worse this time is I wasn't told about it until I queried dispatch of my order. The item did eventually come into stock, but I didn't even get offered a discount or refund on the Next Day Delivery service I paid for (£8). Also in recent years, I have noticed quite a large jump in pricing, which seems to be some way above the market average increase. I will still probably use them again, but only as a last resort/hard to find item sadly.

Mr Sibthorp, Thank you for your review. We do try to keep our stock information up to date but it is not always possible at this very busy time of year. Sorry about the delay in despatch but given the size and value of the order plus the fact that you ordered a spray paint means that your parcel had to go by courier at a cost of £7.99. We try to keep our prices competitive but as you will be aware prices have risen greatly due to many factors including Brexit, the rising prices of fuel etc and this has affected kit prices considerably and our prices have to rise in line with the increased costs.

The service was good and efficient at the beginning. However the parcel had the wrong address on it which meant it took us a week to get it.

Dave all our parcels are currently send on a UK mainland next day delivery service which means that your order is with you as fast as possible but unfortunately this is slightly more expensive. Your order was delivered 24 hours after it was placed. Thanks for your understanding.

We have only had the car for 1 week and it’s been fantastic. One issue has been the battery pack which has a wire come loose which appears to need soldering. I have looked to replace it. Otherwise rating would be a 4/5.

Eric you placed your order at 9pm on Sunday 9th October when we were closed. We despatched your order when we reopened the following day on Monday and it was delivered by DPD at 2pm Tuesday 11th October as it was sent on a next day service. Glad to be of service!

Ordered paints and paid for fast delivery. However you were waiting for fulfillment of product. Therefore I recieved paints later than expected but still paid for fast delivery. If your awaiting fulfillment and my ordered delayed why am I paying for fast delivery. Does it state on your Web site that if your awaiting fulfillment delivery is fast from the time you recieve product and my expectation that I should be getting delivery 24 hours after placing order.

Very helpful on the phone with stock and order queries on previous orders. Not the fastest on sending out orders. Waited nearly a week this time and have had no communication on order update, out of stock or dispatch notice. Still not received.

Martin your parcel for this order was delivered on the 7th September and the courier DPD will have provided you with both a text and email confirming this.

My order eventually turned up 8 days after ordering, minus 2 items ( the ones that I really needed) was not informed of this until the day before delivery. I understand that stock runs out but why not update your web site to unavailable or send an e-mail if I had been informed of the shortage could have gone elsewhere straight away instead of waiting 7 days. On arrival the packaging was very poor and one of the boxes inside was crushed at the corner, luckily no damage to model parts. Think a little more attention to communication and packaging, is needed.

Took me a complete afternoon to order paints, site kept going down plus adding items to the cart did not always work. Order placed on 2/4/22 extra paid for NEXT DAY delivery (3/4/22) arrived Lunchtime 4/4/22 so wasted £7.99. I will look elsewhere next time.

Hi, our cut-off for next-day delivery is 2 pm as stated on our website - https://www.wonderlandmodels.com/shipping-returns/. As your order was placed after the cut-off time, your order was collected by the courier the following day and delivered to you the day after.

Arrival time of purchased kit model very good. However, packaging crumpled at one end with damaged caused to kit box. As bought as a gift not ideal. Sure fault lies with courrier, not Wonderland.
