Sorry to hear of the problem. Modern regulations limit the amount of the "explosive" in each cap so they do not make as much noise as they did before. Please e-mail us at mailorder@wonderlandmodels.com with full details of the issue and we will see how we can help you

“I have purchased a number of items from Wonderland Models and have never had any problems till this order. As we speak I have an order that has been delayed. It should come this week. That's not a problem as they conntacted me about it. As it was delayed I rang Wonderland and asked I could order some masking fluid and have it shipped with the outstanding order. The gentleman I spoke to told me to order it using the online form using the comment box to say to add it to the order and I would not be charged postage. Unfortunately no one read the comments box so I ended up getting charged postage which was more expensive then the item ordered. Poor service on this occasion unfortunately.”

“Usually excellent but let down this time by DPD who deliver around here when they feel like it. Two stars for the good intentions and quick response to the order but since I have not yet received the goods, I can’t be more positive. £4.99 seems a steep delivery charge for DPD’s service but it’s only money…”

“I can't rate anything at the moment as I have not received my order yet but when I do hopefully receive it I will leave a review. So far I've not been updated when delivery will be but I did pay extra for delivery that should have been Monday 8th but I am still waiting.”

Hi Philippa. Your order is out for delivery today. We use a next working day service from DPD, and orders dispatched over the weekend are generally delivered on the Tuesday, although DPD do endeavour to deliver sooner if they can.

“I have no issue at all with Wonderland Models, as their on-line ordering is very quick and efficient, with a speedy turn-around time. However, their choice of DPD as their courier lets them down badly. My oder was due for delivery on a Friday evening. I received notification around the time the delivery was due that my items were being returned to the DPD depot and wouldn't be delivered until the Monday. This is not the 1st time that I have had this situation with the same DPD courier. He either is being overloaded and cannot complete the drops on his manifest, or when it gets to a certain point in the day, he decides that he isn't going to deliver any more items. As I say, no reflection on Wonderland, but if the courier can't or won't deliver on the promised date, a serious conversation is required with DPD.”

Sorry to hear of the problem. Boxes from that manufacturer are usually sealed to protect the contents. What was the problem with the quality of the matchstick? If you can send a reply directly to us by e-mail to info@wonderlandmodels.com we will pass your concerns on to the supplier.

“Received the items I ordered a day late after paying for next day though I must admit I did order it a little late in the day still next day was accepted also in with my order was 4 very old aviation magazines which I was told was a free gift !! Strange as I was not given a choice and they will go straight into ‘my’ recycling. Also to note the total weight of the magazines was just about twice that of the items I ordered which makes me question the shipping charges I will probably not be ordering from this company”

Mr Gallimore, To qualify for next working day delivery we have to receive the order by 2:00pm as is clearly stated on our website. I have checked our records and you placed the order at 11:20pm on the 8th, over 9 hours after the deadline and 6 hours after we close for business. We despatched the parcel on the 9th and you received it next working day, the 10th. As regards the magazines, as I explained in my e-mail a few days ago, we acquired these as part of a huge collection of unbuilt plastic model kits and we decided to give our customers a little bonus by including a few magazines in each parcel. We are charged a flat fee by our couriers for each parcel we send and the presence of the magazines had no effect on the shipping charge you paid.

“Paid for overnight delivery. Bought it late Monday but did not expect it to be sent out the same day. It was sent out Tuesday. I needed a Wednesday delivery as I was meeting an old friend who was visiting that night and it was a present for him. It arrived Thursday. Not good enough.”

“I ordered two items requiring dpd delivery. I placed the order Tuesday evening with next day delivery knowing it would not be processed until Wednesday. Exspecting my order on Thursday. It was delivered friday afternoon. That according to your web site is normal delivery. So why did I pay extra?”

Keith, I have checked the details of the order and you ordered a spray paint. Due to postal restrictions this has to be sent by courier and the minimum cost of that service is £7.99
