not pleased that a model claimed to be wooden is made of plastic -the frame thier is no need for it to be plastic --surely ????

Mr Tapper - sorry for any confusion here. I have checked the website entry for the kit and this states it is a mixture of plastic and wood "The Billing Boats kit of the Waveney Class Lifeboat features an ABS plastic hull and superstructure with plastic fittings, mast in ramin wood and rigging cord."

Said parts were in stock but clearly they weren’t as took weeks to arrive. Packaging good and parts as described but wanted quickly otherwise would have brought for cheaper elsewhere

I recently purchased a Tamiya AS-32 spray and a tin of Revell metallic silver paint. I realised a few minutes later that I needed to add a jar of Tamiya XF-25 paint. I was not able to add it to the original order but was told by staff in the shop that the 2 orders would be combined and I would only have to pay one.postage. I have however been billed for 2 postages. I would like one to be refunded.

If you check your bank statement you will see that you have only been charged for one postage charge. Apoilogies if you missed this?

When order was placed item was in stocks by the time it was processed it was out of stock. They also did not add my place of work on the address and it went to the wrong company and I had to go find it.

The item we received didn’t match the photo online, when reporting this to customer services they ignored my complaint & thanked me for my understanding which I never expressed & I haven’t heard anything since. The problem was never resolved.

I ordered on 7th December and they still haven't arrived, it's now the 19th of December. For the last few days, the update says Sorry your DPD local driver Prashant has been delayed

Here is where it lets itself down. If you pay extra there is an expectation that you will receive next day delivery. I waited four days and when I asked for the postage to be refunded my emails were ignored so be very careful folks !

Russell we have confirmation from our courier that your parcel was successfully delivered to you on the 22nd August which was six days ago. You were sent an email and text informing you of this the day it was delivered.

I was somewhat disappointed. Your site basically has a ' any special requests ' re delivery and states the order is manually processed. I asked if my delivery could be delayed until 06th April so I would be home. Clearly no one bothers to read the requests as it was delivered yesterday. Left out on my uncovered doorstep in the weather with the chance of being stolen. I also requested via the DPD link to delay delivery which although I received a message saying it would be that too was ignored and delivered on the 04th. I actually haven't opened the package yet. Let's hope the rain didn't do any damage.

Unfortunately I didn't received my parcel. DPD sent him to my neighbour. And I tried two times to take, but wasn't there. Wasn't good idea to send my parcel to the neighbour. My request was to the nearest Co-op shop as collecting point. This is for now. I hope everything to be OK. And to collect my parcel. I will try again on Friday evening. Thank you!

I ordered some shrinking dope for use on an aircraft repair in a museum. The only delivery option presented online was to pay for next-day courier delivery. I assumed I would receive the dope the next day, and scheduled my teams' work accordingly. When it didn't arrive, I redeployed my guys to other tasks and chased it up by phone. I received an apology and was told that someone should have contacted me. The dope arrived the next day, a week or so late.

The amount of paint in the tin for the price i paid plus postage was very dissappointing and a bit of a rip off.

Not received yet l have 7 days of messages saying a delay and giving the next day for delivery. No explanation as to why it is delayed which would be helpful. Just hoping it will arrive before Christmas.

I spent over £1000 on a 1/14 scale truck, radio and associated items. On plugging in the charger to charge the battery it immediately burnt out. I contacted customer services who told me to send it back by the cheapest method as they do not cover the cost of returning faulty items, they said they would assess it and refund the cost of the charger if it was indeed faulty. 14 days after posting it I rang to enquire about my refund and was told they had not received any chargers and I should start compensation proceedings with Royal Mail. I was also told if I lived around the corner from them I could have just walked into the store with it. I certainly shall not be spending any more money with this company.

Mr Miller, Sorry to hear of the problem, We ask all customers to return faulty goods by the cheapest means possible and to obtain proof of posting. If an item is faulty then we do refund the return postage costs. As to your missing parcel, we record all parcels received by us whether from suppliers or customers and any customer returns are immediately given to the relevant staff member for checking and replacement/repair. We have no record of receiving your parcel and our R/C staff cannot recall any battery chargers being returned recently. Only you, the sender, can make a claim for non-delivery from the carrier you used using your proof of posting.
