“My first order for a while has turned triumphant. Some the names of my alcohol free choices were known to me directly, others obliquely. The first category is the 'known knowns' the second as 'unknown knowns'. As with shoppers everywhere my delight emerges from these latter. In other words and, to take an example, I know The Old Peculiar, I did not know the 'Nowt Peculier', but now I know them both. Many thanks.”

“Beer fine. Excellent choice. Delivery however. It's going to let the whole endeavour down due to the delivery idiots who cancel the delivery at last minute and then don't redeliver. I needed that for this weekend and now due to the fact 1. They failed to leave it in my safe space on the Wednesday (then why ask me for a safe space) 2. The cancel the delivery the next day on the Thursday with no explanation. 3. They don't deliver it on the Friday. Now i have to wait for Monday and you get no response when you email the delivery firm. Wise bartender are great. Their choice if delivery agent. Not so great.”

“The beers look good, but I had a rough first order. I signed up for the mailing list to get 10% off my first order but never received the discount code. I emailed the marketing team but never received a reply. My husband tried signing up under his name and received the code, which I used. Would have appreciated a reply from the marketing team.”

“Lovely service.Hardly had to wait,order was here within days.Very reasonably priced 10x non alcoholic Irish cream(substitute for Baileys) which came with 10%off.I had been looking for a product like this for ages and found Wise Bartender so gave it a go.Very good experience,on the whole,thanks.”

“I left a review last week saying I was disappointed that I’d not received my order and wrote that I wasn’t satisfied with the service I’d received. Unfortunately it turns out that the fault lied with the delivery company and not the supplier and I was too hasty in writing a poor review. I’ve since received excellent customer service to help rectify my issues and I’m looking forward to receiving my order”

“After 8 days I still haven't received my order. DX Express said they tried to deliver it but I wasn't in, yet I'd stayed in all day. I have rearranged the delivery twice more each time they cancelled it on the day. Suggest you get a new delivery company”

Hi William, Thank you for your feedback, and firstly, we're very sorry for the frustration you've experienced. We were actually only made aware of the delivery issue when we received notification of your review. We always encourage customers to contact us directly if there is a problem with a delivery, as once a parcel leaves our warehouse it is in the hands of the courier and we aren't automatically notified when deliveries are delayed, repeatedly rebooked, or encounter issues. Having investigated your order, we can see that DX have repeatedly rearranged delivery without successfully completing it, despite several rebooking attempts. We completely understand how frustrating this must be, particularly when you've stayed home waiting for the delivery. As soon as we became aware of the issue, we contacted both the customer and DX to investigate and have now arranged a replacement order so that we can get the drinks delivered as quickly as possible. Whilst courier issues of this nature are thankfully rare, we appreciate that does little to help when you're the customer affected. As a small family business, we work hard to resolve problems quickly once we're made aware of them, and we're sorry that on this occasion your experience fell below the standard we aim to provide.

“Couldnt find this Hardy's Zero Chardonnay in any local major supermarket but Wise bartender came up trumps with this and provided 10 lovely bottles. Only gone alcohol free last month and been looking for a palatable wine that doesnt taste horrible compared with normal. This beauty fits the bill and tastes like 'normal' -thank you for choosing and stocking this Wise Bartender.”
