Product was not of the quality I expected , looks good on line but very poor quality when received.

Received no sales confirmation / invoice. Took multiple calls to get through to the team. Confirmed correct email address and was told would be sent a confirmation. Had to ring back two more times to get one. Delivery didn't arrive within advised 2-3 days - had to ring three times to find out when would be delivered despite being promised someone would call me back each time I rang. Haven't received product yet so can't comment on that side.

I purchased a particular gun cabinet because it was advertised as next day delivery. 3 days later I have not even had an email relating to any despatch. Poor service.

Ref Order #WF00008965. Your website clearly states 7-10 days delivery on the Buffalo River Black Diamond 10 gun cabinet. Therefore, as I am not at work next week, I ordered the cabinet this week on the 22nd for delivery next week when I am at home. The e-mail you sent to me on the 22nd also stated that you would e-mail me when the order was being shipped - I have received no such e-mail. Imagine how annoyed I felt when your delivery driver phoned me AT WORK today to say he was waiting outside my home, which is 6 miles away! I couldn't leave work to meet him and he couldn't have waited for me anyway. This lack of communication has caused a great deal of inconvenience for us both and the driver has had to re-schedule delivery for next Monday when I am off work and at home. Not very impressed so far - I only hope I now recieve it on Monday! Regards G. Webb.

Next day delivery is clearly a myth! Ordered pre 10am Thursday, expected delivery Friday, even on Wintergield’s order status checker. Still haven’t received the safe but hopeful it will be here Monday, fingers crossed. Online ordering good, best price but service doesn’t match rival sites.

I currently have a gun cabinet on order. I have called every day for approximately five days to get a progress report and arrange some to take delivery. I not been able to get through to anyone at all. I have tried each number on the automated service but with no success. Regards

I didn't receive any delivery warning email from the company. I didn't receive a delivery schedule date email. (I checked my junk folder) I received a call from the delivery driver when he was outside my house. He said I didn't have to be there for the delivery and would leave it outside my house. I rushed up there and fortunately I caught him. If I was at work, my parcel would have been left on my front step all day. (The house is still undergoing work and not lived in) What is strange, I called your company this morning asking for a delivery update to which I was told I will recieve an email when the delivery day had been scheduled. I was told that she was going to chase this up and call me back. I'm still waiting for that call back! Not great communication. Luckily I was off from work otherwise a £250 bit of kit would be sitting on my door step all day. Or I would have missed the delivered which I didn't even know was happening. Something's gone wrong with the communication between your company and the delivery firm.

I ordered and paid for a leather gun case on 27 March. Still no sign of it. When I tried to telephone I got no reply apart from "All our lines are busy.....etc".

The safe was damaged when delivered. They offered to replace item and informed me that it would be done the following day (Thursday). I waited in all day, but no delivery. The following day (Friday) I spoke to customer services and they informed me that it was going to be delivered that day (Friday). I again waited in all day, but no delivery. It eventually got delivered 3 days later (Monday).Every time I phoned the company (which was several times) I had to phone an 0845 number which costs me extra. I was given false information on several occasions. Customer services could not speak directly with the delivery company and had to go through their suppliers. When I pointed out that it cost me money to phone the 0845 number, this was denied by customer services. I was not believed. When I first informed customer services that the item was not replaced and I had waited in all day for nothing, the response was 'Not a problem'. Well it was for me. At no time was I offered anything for all my inconveniences. The item was delivered damaged, I needlessly waited in for 2 whole days, I was given misinformation, was not treated with respect, not offered any compensation and the undamaged item was delivered 5 days late.

Ordered a gun safe last Thursday. The safe arrived, faulty and was collected. Getting though to somebody on the phone was difficult, because the line just kept cutting off. I asked on the phone for an email confirmation as to when the cabinet would be collected; no email. I then emailed on Monday asking for an updated; no reply. I emailed again on Wednesday asking for an update; no reply. Chased up by phone today, (again nightmare getting through to someone) to be given an idea as the when I might receive a replacement. Had the initial order not have been faulty, I would have left a positive review because of the fast delivery, but the communication from this company is atrocious.

Decent products, fair shipping but poor communication. They will dishonour cash back claims in favour of lower-value on-site offers.

According to their website the item I required was available for next day delivery. I placed the order and I did not hear anything from the company until I called them a few days later later to find out where my item was, to be told it would definitely be with me in a few days. Over a week later I was still waiting and contacted the company again only to be told that it was out of stock! I won't be using this company again as their communication is non-existent as just left me waiting.

Order arrived on the day promised, but the fixing bolts were of poor quality and rusty ( I will not be using them ). No paperwork, fitting instructions, or quality certificate included with the order. When attempting to take off the protective film from the manufacturers badge the badge itself started to come off with it !! Was asked by WinterfieldSafes to contact them if I was not 100% happy before writing a review, which I did via email but have had no response from them. It was my first purchase from them, it probably will be my only one.

Sadly guys I'm not impressed. I checked out your website for a hard rifle case and saw a couple of very competitively priced cases which interested me. I started to order the Buffalo case only to find it wasnt in stock. I then changed my order to a second choice and completed the order Process. I then received an email saying you don't have that one either and you don't know when you'll have it in stock. I asked when the Buffalo one was coming back in stock and no response. Really disappointing and im still waiting to hear back on next steps.
