I ordered a gun safe on 10 April and as of today 29 April I still haven't received it. I tried to call but no reply - emailed twice - still no reply. Money taken - no product received

I received a damaged safe and reported it. All resolved within a few weeks.

Wrong Name and delivery address. Item was left outside in the rain in plain site. The only reason is wasn’t stolen was because the bloke that lives 10 doors down from me kindly made sure it was brought in doors and called me to let me know he had it. Very stiff lock. Keys don’t work particularly well.

Placed order on 2 -3 day delivery, confirmation email received saying an email would be sent confirming delivery. No email received so contacted by email, no reply and then called. They said the item had been despatched at which point the door bell rang with item. Thankfully I was in despite absence of email. Immediate inspection, item (a metal cabinet) was damaged top, bottom and side to the extent it was fractured. Called them and in all fairness they said they would sort....but emailed to say the item would be replaced Monday. No checking and I was due to be out Monday so emailed...they said they would check with their supplier and I heard no more. I started looking for an alternative cabinet from somewhere else and then by chance found Winterfield Safes's suppliers who were just brilliant! All sorted, damaged cabinet replaced. I wish I had know as the supplier is much cheaper for the same product. Despite my email to Winferfield (now Sixty Stores) to say I would not be in, Tuffnells kept turning up to collect the damaged item I delivered direct to their supplier. Based on my experience, avoid. Poor service, inferior product...at supplier price plus Sixty Stores mark-up.

Nobody answers your queries. Delivery is not within 1 to 2 days as stated. I asked for an update and never got a reply.

Go somewhere else. Woeful. Delivered a week late - and only after I chased (ignored emails chasing, had to use a form off their website). Now I've been delivered a safe with a razor sharp internal edge. I've advised them twice using the email address given and zero response to date. Customer service nil. Avoid like the plague.

Thank you for your review. If orders are placed with us before mid-day they will be processed that day. In this case your order was placed after mid-day and therefore processed the day after hence making your order a day late. I hope this did not inconvenience you too much. Sarah, Customer Services.

placed order for next day delivery but never arrived. i had to contact them to see what had happened and was told the item was out of stock. still hasnt arrived and its now 7 working days late. i wouldnt use this company again

order/delivery went very well unfortunately there was/is a problem with one of the keys/locks - I phoned in but the support/help rec'd from the"sales manager" was woeful ( non-existent) - the worst kind of customer touch-point. Because the "sales manager" was either unwilling or incapable of talking to me the customer, I was left dealing with a poor girl who was running back/forward between myself and the manager. The firearms officer was NOT happy with multiple key access - the safe WAS NOT fit for purpose but I could not get it replaced.... Your website hails the very high level of customer support you proport to provide......in my instance customer support was non existent and an absolute disgrace.. I am a retired COO - brand and customer relations were extremely high on my radar. In your case I'm afraid your branding and CR is non- existent.

Winterfield Safes are the worst company I have ever dealt with. After sending a faulty item they made every excuse not to collect the safe and as such not to refund me for months. This period included times when they insisted I waited in for a day (a day I had to take as holiday at my own expense) only to not collect the item. Their customer service advisors are rude, unprofessional and incompetent... to the extent where they put the phone down on you. I have had months of lies and ignored emails and messages. Winterfield Safes are borderline criminal. Avoid like the plague!!

I was sent this review before my cabinet had arrived. I replied to your info email address saying it had not been delivered and received no reply. On phoning today I'm told my item was out of stock and wouldn't be available until March. Did anyone think to tell me this. Very poor service and I wouldn't recommend.

Delivered a faulty and substandard item. Now are refusing to refund until they collect, but making collection as inconvenient as they can. Woeful customer service and they clearly don't care now they have my money. Avoid unless you want to end up out of pocket.

I placed my order on 7th Sept for delivery on 30th. It arrived but keys don't fit. They said it was a 'known fault'! They promised a replacement and collection on 3rd October. Didn't arrive . On 4th they said it was on the way and courier was close to my house. Didn't arrive. I bought a cabinet elsewhere. There has been no attempt to collect the faulty item, and in spite of multiple phone calls, emails and promises over 3 weeks, I have yet to receive a refund. So it's off to the county court I expect. My advice? Steer well clear of this lot!

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Poor customer service, delivery was delayed twice, management refuses to take calls, prefering to hide behind their ill mannered sales staff.

Accepted my order, took payment but no safe in stock or and no idea when they could get one. Phone to check that the safe is in stock as the website does not get updated.
