“They have a good website and they hold a reasonable amount of stock and are quick to dispatch purcheses. There are a number of photgraphic equipment suppliers online and I could have probably found what I needed cheaper elsewhere, however unlike many, Wilkinson also have highstreet shops, and whilst they are closed at this time the fact there is a physical place I can go to in case of service/warrany issues or just to ask for advice is one reason why I use them. They also sell genuine producs being an offical dealer for many brands. There are no worries about dark imports which may cause issues.”

“excellent customer service - as I hadn't heard of wilkinson cameras before I was extremely hesitant about buying a £500 camera online, and I called the customer service number to double check about their refund policy - the fact that someone answered straight away was a definitate plus, he explained everything clearly, I ordered, it arrived super fast (I didn't select next day but it arrived next day anyway, which was awesome) - love the camera, i'm keeping it and would definitaly order again from wilkinson.”

“Ordering the lens I needed was easy via the website even though it was a special order item. The expected lead time of 6-8 days was clearly shown on the site and was also covered in the email confirming the order. Delivery was in fact far faster than expected with the lens being sourced/dispatched on day 3. Delivery was fast and efficient with the manufacturers packing being safely and completely surrounded by protective packaging and another box. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Hi David, Thank you for the feedback. Almost all of the packaging we use is packaging we have received our own stock deliveries in. This includes cardboard boxes, packing chips, paper wrap, bubble wrap and air-bag void fillers. It means we sometimes need to use the box size we have available at the time. We re-use these items so that they don't simply get used once and then disposed of. During busy periods we supplement this supply by buying in recycled cardboard boxes. The items we stock come in a myriad of sizes and shapes, but for ease and cost efficiencies we only stock a selection of box sizes. By doing this, not only do we ensure that we recycle as much packaging as we possibly can, but it also helps to keep our costs as low as possible in order to continue offering a free post & packaging option. Any cardboard we receive which is simply too large to be used for customer parcels is either re-purposed or put into our paper recycling container for collection from a local recycling company. Hopefully your local authority will allow you to easily recycle the cardboard box and its contents or perhaps you will be able to reuse the items for any of your own parcels in the future. “Fantastic customer service. I placed an order for a telephoto lens that is out of stock everywhere else I looked. Later that day I had a call from Wilkinson Cameras advising that the item would have to be imported and might take longer to arrive so they understood if I would rather have a refund than wait. I explained I was happy to wait. I got an email the next morning to the same effect, apologising and explaining that it may take several weeks for the item to arrive and they understood if I wanted to cancel my order. I sent an email back explaining I was happy to wait. The lens was delivered well ahead of the advised potential wait. Really impressed with the speed of delivery for an imported item, the communication from the company and the availability of the product. I would definitely use Wilkinson Cameras again in future over other suppliers.”

“I spoke to two sales persons. Because of the quality of response of the first person, who helped me to decide on the printer I needed to replace my broken one by providing me with information and availability. This secured the sale. After checking using the information I rang back the next day, A different sales person was not quite as positive and customer friendly.She told me my problems with my account access could only be solved by the technical team. No number given or an offer to put me through. In the end I used the non-account side of your website - as suggested by her. Because of the very good help of the first sales person i was able to make a choice with confidence. I ended up with an award winning printer.”
