“Living in the North West, Wilkinson Cameras is a "local" firm. I used to have a small branch near me, pre-pandemic. Visits to a store demonstrate the staff's knowledge and enthusiasm for photography. Online service is fine. I'd prefer to see perhaps a little more technical specification on some items, but I've usually done my research anyway. Ordering is very simple and payment secure. Opt for the paid next-day service and use DHL rather than free delivery with Parcel Force.”

“I required delivery to be within a short time slot a week hence. The staff were extremely helpful in ensuring this. Delivery was spot on. I also had a query concerning compatibility of a battery and again the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable in looking up the required data. I would not hesitate in buying from Wilkinson again.”

“The Lumix TZ95 seems to be in short supply. I tried to order this camera from John Lewis, but it was on backorder. They sent me an email to say it was back in stock and when I went online to order, they said they had 5. In the time it took me to place an order, they had all been sold. The order was still accepted, money taken and it was only when we went to collect the camera that they told us it was out of stock. I did a Google search and found Wilkinson who said they had cameras in stock. I ordered at 5pm on a Thursday before a Bank Holiday weekend and Royal Mail Strike with a likely delivery of the following Wednesday. The camera arrived before10am on Saturday 40 hours after placing the order. Excellent service. Thank you”

“Hadn't bought a 2nd hand lense for quite a while, found Wilkinson Cameras website easy to use, easy to order. Description was accurate, service was prompt, the lense turned up quickly and packed well. Overall great experience, happy to order from them again.”

“Excellent service from Wilkinson Cameras via their website. I had several questions about buying a camera, initially sent by email and then I used live chat with further questions just before purchase. In both instances they replied immediately providing detailed replies which gave me complete confidence in spending money with them. Delivery was prompt and the camera is superb. “Spoke on the phone to a lady at the warehouse in Preston. She was knowledgeable and helpful and gave me the confidence to order a new for me but previously owned Nikon DSLR camera. The camera arrived promptly and was well packaged and in excellent condition. I am very pleased indeed with the service I received. I am hoping to take some good photographs with my new camera soon.”

“Amazing service really. Within minutes of asking on delivery times on a new point and shoot (LUMIX TZ95) they emailed back immediately and said they had just received new stock Ordered straight away and within a few more minutes DPD had emailed saying they were delivering next day! But I was going to be away do with a few minutes using DPD’s app I had arranged delivery when I was at home. Camera arrived on time with the courier notifying me the hour of arrival and updates how far away. Camera works great as well :)”

“I had been looking for a particular model of Canon camera . All the usual places where I would have purchased it from were out of stock. I found Wilkinson Cameras had it in stock and at a competitive price too. I paid for next day delivery ( not too expensive) as it was a bank holiday weekend. It came next day packaged very well. Really pleased I found them on line .”
