“I ordered a protective cover for my Sigma lens and my address was different from the delivery address. A young lady rang me within an hour to check my home address and the item arrived two days later. The lens cover fitted perfectly but I can't help thinking that £50 was very overpriced for this item and wonder if a £26 cover would have better value as they both look the same in the illustrations from other suppliers.”

“Had difficulty with ordering online; ordered the wrong used item my mistake: there were two very similar. Lady dealing with online was not very helpful and in a complete rush with no patience. Just kept telling me what I had ordered, never looking at the fact that there were two very similar. Felt like not dealing with Wilkinson again! However spoke to the Southport branch who went out of there way and found the correct item online. All was rectified in the end and I bought a new item, in the Preston shop.”

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I can see from the order notes that you ordered a C+ graded Pre-Owned item by mistake, having meant to order the same item in an A+ grade. I can therefore understand why you were a bit taken aback when you opened the parcel expecting a mint condition item, to find one with more obvious use. I can see who you spoke to about this and I have raised the issue with their manager and asked that they speak to the person in question. I'm really sorry that you didn't experience our usual excellent level of service. Providing friendly, expert service is something we are usually very good at and is at the very heart of our business model. I'm sorry we fell short on this occasion and I'm grateful that you gave us another chance at Southport and Preston stores and had the problem rectified. Please be assured that this will be taken further and I hope you will shop with us again online and in-store so we can show you that this isn't standard behaviour for members of our Customer Service team. “Ordering simple and delivery prompt. However this was a small value item which would go through the letter box but was sent for signature on delivery which meant I had to travel ten miles, park etc to collect it. For a big or valuable item I would accept this approach.”

“Lost a ball from my Leofoto tripod spikes / balls and realised that the 3 legged thing equivalent were the same. Always keen on the best price bought a new set from Wilkinson - they were the best deal around - Leofoto were not available. Arrived quickly and fitted perfectly. Now going to sell the spikes and keep the balls for future spares”
