“Purchased a camera bag - delivery estimated as 2-3 business days. I ordered it on a Tuesday after 6 pm, expecting it to arrive Friday/Saturday. However, it was despatched next day, for delivery the day after (Thursday) and sadly I wasn’t available to receive it. Parcelforce send a notification, but you cannot change delivery until after they have made an attempt to deliver. So when I got back on Thursday I had to rearrange delivery. The rearranged delivery does not come with a time slot like the original one...presumably as punishment for not being in first time :-). So I had to wait in for delivery So, top marks to Wilkinson for speedy despatch, shame it was with Parcelfarce. Very happy with the bag...”

“My first purchase from Wilkinson. Ordered (online) a Panasonic battery as a spare for a new Lumix G9 camera. Although new, it was advertised at a significantly reduced price (£39) because it was unboxed - the official Panasonic RRP being £67.99! Wilkinson's minimum cut-off for free delivery is £50 (reasonable), so delivery was an additional £4.95 - quite expensive for such a small item, but understandable in that a battery is presumably not a "low value item" (for which £2.95 would have been charged). The order was placed on a Fri morning, and delivery was flagged for Mon (by DPD). On Fri afternoon, a member of Wilkinson's staff phoned to apologise that the delivery would now have to be on Tue due to some administrative difficulty, and to check that this would be acceptable. It didn't matter to me in the slightest, but I really appreciated the honesty and proactivity from Wilkinson's - it showed courtesy and good old fashioned customer service; and it also gave me an opportunity to discover why the battery was unboxed (it had been part of a Panasonic promotion). Will definitely give Wilkinson's a look when considering any future purchases.”
