“After having tried several different LED lights from a variety of suppliers, most of which turned out to be dim and inadequate, I came across these Mirrorstone 60 led globes which live up to their 290 lumens output and are an ideal replacement for the traditional 40 watt tungsten lights. Although a little more expensive to buy than some others, they are well worth the extra cost over the cheap and rather dim alternatives which also have a shorter life expectancy. At only 3 watts they are definitely the best I have found in terms of light output per watt. It's a pity that this same light is not available in a candle bulb but maybe that will follow soon. Customer service was of an exceptionally high standard so buy with confidence. Highly recommended”

“I live in Greece, and ordered eight lamps, ( three different sizes), to replace some 11 watt long life lamps and some 60 watt R63 reflectors. I have had no previous experience with LED lamps, and was curious to evaluate the product. The package arrived promptly, (about 8 days, which is very good to the small island on which I live), and was well packed. All lamps were intact and worked. I am very impressed with the quality and strength of output of the light, (warm white). I was particularly impressed with the E27 ES 7W R63 reflectors which provide more light for my kitchen that the 60 watt reflectors that they replaced. The E14 SES 3.5W Ceramic lights also provide an improvement and more pleasant light than those replaced. I was slightly less impressed with the E27 ES 60 SMD 3W (Ball), as the improvement over the existing 11 watt long life lamps was marginal. However it is a comfort that the running cost is down by 75%. Next time I will purchase a different lamp for the replacements. I have about 30 more lamps that I would like to replace, but this will have to be done over a period of time as I live on a pension income. I would wish, however, that the company would provide for free shipment outside of the UK if the value of the order was more than, say, 80 GBP, which would probably encourage more ex-pats to purchase. I would have no hesitation in recommending LED lamps, and this company in particular, as I have been pleased with their efficiency and believe that their prices are lower than any other company that I have found on the internet.”

“I rang to get advice on fitting dimmable LED strip lights under a unit in my kitchen, the advice was quick, simple and easy to understand for a non-electrical person. “These GU10 3.3 watt LEDs are excellent for replacing Halogen 50 watt GU10s. They appear to give about the same amoount of light but it is more dispersed as I chose 120 deg angle, the old ones being 36. It is a bit less warm than the Halogen light. MR16 replacments for 50 watt low-voltage Halogens were not satisfactory - poorer light, some flickering, some buzzing. I have replaced the fittings with GU10 sockets (very easy) and now GU10 3.3 watt LEDs are satisfactory - probably not quite as bright as the low-voltage Halogens, but we were probably over-lit before. If, after longer getting used to the change (a bit less light, cooler light, wider distribution) we want to increase the overall illumination, it will be easy to add some more into the ceilings (we have good access above) and at 3.3 watts a time, we don't need to worry about overal consumption. The price with this company was the best we could find and they have been excellent - intelligent, knowledgeable and helpful to talk to on the phone, and quick in re-imbursing for returned MR16s.”
