“We felt like students were engaged in fun tasks and were able to look at sections of Macbeth in new ways. They particularly enjoyed thinking about the physicality of the scenes thinking of the 'performance' side of the scripts. It was accessible and inclusive. Lane, the actor sent to us, was warm and friendly.”

“As always the sessions were well-planned and age-appropriate for each class. The children were interested and engaged throughout. It would though, be even better if the children had more direction and immersion into the drama side, so rather than simply thinking of something to act out or freeze frame, they had been led through some drama based tasks with the leader.”

“From Year 5 Teacher It seemed okay for the lower school, but I felt my year 5 weren’t really challenged. Some of the children were unable to read the text, which was projected on the screen. ( they were lots of hard words which they didn’t know how to read). Maybe if we had an advanced copy of the slides we could have read it together before hand.”

“The kids had a wonderful day and enjoyed stepping back in time. They loved the freeze frames and acting out but were hoping to see some props or costumes to try on. All in all, it was a fun workshop and the adult who took the groups did well to manage the children and keep them engaged.”
