“It was lovely to welcome Ellie into our school to work with children in Reception to Year 2. She had a kind and caring manor with the children and quickly built up a good rapport with them in the sessions. The session was interactive and kept children engaged throughout. She was also very patient and attentive with our SEND children. Thank you for today. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all.”

“We all had a lovely afternoon at the workshop. The Teacher for this afternoons session was fabulous 🙂 However, I did find that the children were sat down for quite a while and some of the instructions were a little tricky to understand. In future we could possibly condense the session and make the instructions a little easier.”

“The instructor was friendly and approachable, the children were pleased to engage with a different culture through dance. They rushed the session a little, finishing 15 minutes early, and our children found the dance moves difficult. We will ask West End in Schools back but we hope that the team will give our children more instruction in future to enable them to participate fully. Thanks for coming!”

“Our children very much enjoyed the drama elements of the session, as well as all the group work. Our host (Hayley) was very enthusiastic and great with all the children. To improve further, we agreed that the use of props would enhance the session. Our children also said they would have loved to dressed up in the session.”

“The dance workshops provided by Rebecca were excellent. She engaged and motivated children from Y1 to Y5, who thoroughly enjoyed their special day. Staff were enthused and everyone had a fantastic time! The company admin team, however, were less helpful with bookings, and intractable when attempting to make arrangements for the day, doubling the workload of a huge organisational task.”

“The children enjoyed the workshop and the teacher was enthusiastic and well informed-thank you. The input was well pitched for the age group and built on what the children already knew. I felt at the beginning of the session there were some long periods of listening which could have been broken up into shorter lengths with some exercises in between as the exercises that were taught later in the session were great fun and enabled the children to engage with the poetry.”

“The workshop was really informative and the children learnt a lot about climate change. We have been discussing it in English and Geography, so it provided them with lots of new information to add to their prior learning. The children were all involved and engaged and said they found it fun! Lee was great and the activities were active and engaging. It was more appropriate for our Year 2 students and was a little advanced for our Year 1 students, but they still had fun!”
