“I was amazed at how much the children achieved in such a short space of time. What a brilliant idea having the children perform the main parts of the story in such a condensed way. The quick pace kept all engaged and the accompanying music helped to bring the performance to life. It was great to see the children having so much fun”

“West End in Schools came in and worked with all of our classes from reception to year six. The feedback has been positive from all the teachers. Here are a sample of the comments: It was great! The children loved all the acting and getting involved, we definitely need more of these in the future! Reception teacher. It was just brilliant - the children were engaged and excited by it. We would totally recommend! - Year Two teacher. I thought the workshop was excellent. Great presenter - well paced , engaging and really got to know the children. I learned a good deal too - i thought it was very useful CPD - Year five teacher Overall everyone was really positive and loved their workshops. Thank you so much for giving us the experience”

“The workshops were a great addition to our unit of work on A Christmas Carol. The leader was energetic and engaging and it was so great to have someone else use the element of drama to bring the story alive. It gave us, as teachers, the opportunity to see just how much the children have understood the story and the work that they have been doing leading up to the workshop. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity and everyone, including some of our children with special educational needs, was able to get involved.”
