“Our children really enjoyed the Diwali dance workshop. It was very engaging from the start and pitched really well for the children’s understanding. The presenter had a very gentle manner with the children and spoke very clearly and calmly. They loved all the little warm up activities and this made it really fun. The dance moves were simple but very effective and retold the story brilliantly. They had lots of time to practice each move and build up the dance. There was also a bit of challenge built in with some of the moves getting more complex and faster! All in all really good fun and would definitely recommend.”

“All children enjoyed our Diwali dance workshop and was differentiated well between the year groups. Our teacher helped the children keep focus and was very engaging. It would have been nice to have seen some traditional costumes that could of been worn or shown by our teacher.”

“We had a series of two days, with a facilitator running workshops for our 14 classes from Reception through to Year 6. What was achieved in these sessions was brilliant - with each class able to perform a piece at the end of the session. We chose to have a workshop based on Diwali and this perfectly complemented our learning in class and RE experience week. Highly recommended!”

“The children enjoyed learning about The Ramayana story and then practising and performing a dance based around it. To improve the experience it would have been nice to have some visual aids and for the children to see traditional indian outfits and dancing sticks.”
