Very good show, held attention of boy-heavy group who were weary at end of term. Excellent performance by 2 actors, creative use of puppet to provide extra character. Two minor points. Any possibility of lights to enhance atmosphere? We used lights for our own productions the week before. I understand neutral clothes required for playing 2 characters, but Aladdin's trackie bottoms looked a bit sad compared with his princesses. But those are minor quibbles following a very enjoyable and engaging show.

What an amazing performance! How two actors can transform a regular school hall into ye olde London using just imagination is fantastic. The children were simply enchanted by the whole performance and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The actors singing and dancing was wonderful and the whole thing was as engaging as it was fun! Thanks again West End we can't wait to see you in the new year.

The whole school had an amazing time. I was privileged to watch one of the performances and it was great to see our youngest nursery children aged 3 and our oldest year 6 children aged 11 all enjoy themselves. They were captivated

Our 540 children really enjoyed the performances, even the 'too cool' Year 6's. The two actors really engaged the audience and were very aware of the subtle differences needed to involve and maintain the interest of the different aged children. Highly recommended.

The performance of Aladdin given by West End in schools was fantastic- the school children and teachers really enjoyed it and there was plenty of opportunity for the children to join in and make noise! We will definitely be booking again! Becky Lazard POMS , Brentry Primary school Bristol

We had a fantastic visit from West End in Schools in early November. The children loved it and we found Ashley's enthusiasm and passion for dance infectious! We had a Roald Dahl themed book week and all the children in the school learned a dance based on one of his books (differentiated for different age groups). The children loved it so much we performed the dances the next day to their parents. After lots of positive feedback from children, staff and parents we will definitely be asking West End in Schools back to Four Elms in the future.

Children and adults all thoroughly enjoyed Cinderella. There may have only been two cast members but they were able to successfully portray a multitude of characters successfully. A brilliant and festive afternoon.

The actors were terrific. They had impressive singing voices, very engaging acting, and command of the stage. Even though Scrooge is a difficult play for small children to understand, the audience (Reception - Y3) was completely enchanted throughout. There were opportunities to join in throughout, including very cleverly timed dancing, which got the children up and moving whenever they started to get fidgety from sitting. This might have been our best panto yet!

The younger children were fully engaged throughout the performance. It was lovely that they had an opportunity to be involved and had actions to help them remember the words to songs and repeated phrases. The only thing that could be improved would be the props/ costumes - to ensure that the different characters were more defined (the younger children found this a little confusing with a different character played by the same person.) Other than this, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you!

The Actors worked very hard and the younger pupils enjoyed the pantomime atmosphere. However, the props and costumes were a little simple and tatty. The characters were limited because there were only two actors and this affected the overall performance. They also didn't have anywhere to properly hide and change which took away from the magic. The younger pupils were still entertained but unfortunately it didn't have the same appeal for the older pupils.

We had an amazing three days at Beech Hill School. We are a large primary school and it was lovely that children from all three key stages had the opportunity to come together for the final performance each day. It is unusual for us to achieve this - usually we group similar age ranges together. The workshop itself was delivered in a fun and informative way, encouraging the children to perform with expression. I was impressed that older children were actively encouraged to perform using original Shakespearean language. We found a few hidden talents as well! Children responded brilliantly to the workshop leader who had high expectations and made sure that everyone participated. He mixed the original play with modern ideas which the children really enjoyed. A love of Shakespeare has been embedded!

All children enjoyed the dance workshop and could discuss the parts they had focused on. It was a great, practical way to support anti-bullying week.
