“The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory dance workshop. The workshop fitted in greatly with our Roald Dahl day celebrating his 100th birthday. The workshop was very entertaining and the children had lots of fun!”

“Absolutely amazing. The children loved the sessions and got so much out of them - not only linked to the story but drama techniques and dance. "I think it was all great - a fun warm up, a good pace and a nice mix of drama and dance to retell the story. They achieved more and learnt more (drama/dance related) in 45 mins than the group who did a whole day with a different drama group did. It was an enjoyable and worthwhile experience and Darryl was the right balance of fun but 'in charge'." "Everyone was really impressed with the sessions and he definitely worked hard all day!! Definitely worth using this company again as they do so many other things"”

“Children very receptive to deliver, she has an excellent manner with the children. A short sharp session to ensure the children stayed engaged. All activities were age appropriate. Pupils commented that the music choice was superb. All round good day.”

“All the students I have spoken to that attended the workshop were very excited and really enjoyed working with Ashley. A child from my class came in the next day and said he watched the film at home and he kept shouting in class " I found the golden ticket!"”

“We have hosted the 'Bringing Books To Life' dance workshops four or five times now, and each time the tutor has been exceptionally good and thoroughly engaged the children. We are really happy with these workshops and will continue to book them whenever we are able to!”

“Our Key Stage 1 children were lucky enough to participate in the celebrations to commemorate Roald Dahl's 100th birthday. One of the events was a dance workshop based on 'The Enormous Crocodile' led by Natasha from West End in Schools. This began with an engaging assembly in which they were able to watch and learn about several different dance styles. They couldn't wait to have a go themselves, even the more reluctant amongst them. They were taught how to perform in a way that they could all access the learning, and loved showing the adults in our school their final performances at the end of the workshops. They thoroughly enjoyed their day, and can't wait to do it all again during our forthcoming book week for which we have already secured our booking. Thank you West End in Schools; this is the second time that we have worked you and we weren't disappointed!”

“Our choreographer was fantastic - full of energy and clearly loves his job. All the staff gave really positive feedback about how much the children enjoyed the workshops, even the Reception classes who were only on their third full day in school! Thank you so much - it finished off our Roald Dahl week perfectly!”

“As a teacher I have taught drama myself but Kilka was stunning. She brought Shakespeare to life for the whole class; they thoroughly enjoyed the session and kept telling me how much they enjoyed it. I had goose bumps the entire time, watching the awe and wonder in the children's faces.”

“Eddie was fantastic. He engaged and motivated all the children during all the sessions from Pre-School children up to Year 6. All the teachers commented on how professionally the dance sessions were delivered and the children thoroughly enjoyed their sessions. Fun was had by all. Thank you Sarah”

“Thank you so much for such a wonderful day! All the children involved thoroughly enjoyed their workshop sessions with Matthew and staff found the process very informative too. One highlight in particular involved some slightly younger and reluctant performers who sat on the side reading rather than joining in; within 5 minutes they had both put down their books and were fully engaged! A huge thank you to Matthew and to the team for making the booking process so straightforward.”
