“Charlie was absolutely brilliant with the girls and it was amazing how she choreographed sequences for the book Alice in Wonderland in just 30 minutes. The girls were completely absorbed by her workshops”

“The children loved the experience and really enjoyed being active. The idea of not using voices was great as it meant the children were really listening. The only thing i would say is that the input did not really relate to poetry at all which is what we are learning about this term.”

“The dance workshops were excellent. We ran them for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Teaching staff were able to choose books relevant to their year groups and the workshops were catered to the needs of the children. The children had fun and were engaged and the staff were also able to pick up some ideas to use in the future as well. A great day, highly recommended.”

“Diana the facilitator was very engaging and worked extremely well with the children and a large number of adults. The children were able to grasp the concept of the play and thoroughly enjoyed practising and performing the play as did the teacher who were watching. The feedback from staff has been highly positive and it was a joy to see the children begin to develop their understanding of the Shakespearean era. Many thanks!”

“Our children have been extremely excited to take part in these activities this week. Ashley has been a fantastic teacher and presented these workshops extremely professionally. The results have been excellent and the children have become enthused with both the story and dramatic performance. “Francesca was absolutely fabulous - enthusiastic, energetic and had a brilliant manner with the children. Every year group learnt something about Midsummer Night's Dream and loved participating in the final performance. “It was absolutely wonderful have Christina join us this half term and bring Alice in wonderland to life The children loved it and were completely engaged through all of their workshops We would’ve loved the workshops to be longer It gave the children an opportunity to experience techniques they wouldn’t normal be able to in everyday school life and it gave them a new way to view and value reading Thank you Miss harris Reading coordinator at st Margaret’s academy”

She was super flexible with our hall timetable which meant both days ran smoothly. The children loved turning their favourite texts we have been reading in school into creative dance performances. Would definitely recommend to any primary school!”

“The West End in Schools facilitator was fantastic! She involved all students and got them excited and enthusiastic about performing Shakespeare! It created a real buzz in the school. Kilke was passionate, knowledgeable and very engaging with all students including those with EAL or SEN needs. Everybody was so excited to share their work and embody their characters.”

“The facilitator, Kilka, was excellent. She had boundless energy and enthusiasm, got the measure of the children within seconds and had full control throughout, and managed to get the children to perform an excerpt of the play in hardly any time at all. The standard of the final performance was astounding - a real goosebumps moment. Fantastic!”
