“A very good service, but needs work on: 1) Delivery - Hermes is poorand competitors use DPD who provide a much better service 2) the mobile App needs development - inputting of ISBNS is a pain (compared to Ziffits)”

“I found the APP easy to use. The process of sending the books was fine and payment was swift. (I had quite a few specialised academic books to dispose of and didn't want to see them pulped without giving them a chance of being used. About 50% were recognised by the database and an offer was made).”

“It was quick and easy to sell my unwanted books, I would have liked a higher price for my books, but I guess that’s the trade off for a quick sale!”

“Once I found the books on your site (the difficult part) the rest of the process was easy. It did take a month before payment was made into my bank. I found it difficult to find the books I was selling on your site. Otherwise good.”

“Reasonable prices for books, good communication, acknowledgement and payment sent through very quickly (about a week after package sent). Only problem I had was sending the package and this appears to be related to the courier not having done their part so the code wouldn't scan at the drop off. Went through ok on second try once an email from Hermes was also received. Pleasantly surprised how easy it was”

“WeBuyBooks works well other than the courier they use (Hermes) is absolute rubbish! Parcels get collected then disappear into the ether with Hermes tracking just stating “it’s on its way” back to WeBuyBooks. Last two collections, several months apart have had to be settled by WeBuyBooks, then they have followed up with carrier. Good on them......but I’d be changing the carrier.”
